Being induced tonight ....

I can't concentrate on anything for very long. After I get off work I have to take a bath and then go have my last meal until after I have babygirl. Tonight I'm going in at 7 to be induced. Babygirl (Keira MacKenzie) should be in my arms tomorrow afternoon.

My MIL is watching Brittany tonight - they are having a party at my MIL's work for Brittany tomorrow sometime. Then she will come over and meet her sister when she's born. We'll also have her a little party at the hospital when she comes to visit. I can't believe she'll be 2 tomorrow.

I'm WAY over emotional ... one minute I'm happy, excited, can't wait - the next I'm sad, worried, and scared.

I will post pictures of Keira as soon as I can.

Update

Sorry it's so late in the afternoon. Well I'm a full centimeter dilated but my cervix is still thick. I got my induction papers so next Tuesday night I'll be in the hospital. Maybe I can take hubby's laptop and get online. They are giving me the cervidil to soften the cervix and then the pitocin the next morning to start labor.

We're going to Outback steakhouse before I go to the hospital. We were at outback the night of the 18th when they called me to ask if I wanted to come in a night early to be induced.

Well I guess that's all I have to say for now.

Hello!

I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. It should be my last one before the baby is born. Next Tuesday is my last day of work and I'm being induced that night. She could come early so she might be born before then. I will update after my appointment tomorrow.

Just a little update

[font=georgia]Hello everyone! How's it going? It's going alright for me I suppose. I've worked everyday this week - so I'm glad it's Friday.

I went to the doctor on Wednesday. Not much change since last week. Still only a fingertip dilated. I'm barely considered anemic. Maybe pretty soon we'll have a name we can both agree on - before she's born would be nice. [:)]

Brittany is doing well. I can't believe she'll be 2 soon. Joshua and I need to think of ideas for her birthday presents and Christmas presents. My mom has a picture of Brittany when she was like 4 days old with Santa holding her out on the coffee table. At first she didn't know it was her - she said it was her baby sister. She said she's going to let Santa hold her baby sister that way and she's going to sit on his lap with her baby sister.

I have yet to start Christmas shopping for ANYONE. I'm pretty sure we know what we're getting Joshua's mom and my mom but not sure about anyone else. Talk about waiting until the last minute.

We have an induction date -- life in general

[font=georgia]Hello everyone! Thanks to those who voted for me. I need to go look at the results - I'm thinking Keira MacKenzie is the name that most people liked.

I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, They did a non-stress test and then checked my cervix. I'm a fingertip dilated but that means nothing - I was a fingertip dilated with Brittany for 3 weeks or more before they induced me. I'm having braxton-hicks contractions - they showed up on the non-stress test yesterday.

They don't want me going too far over 39 weeks since my fluid level is still on the low side of normal. So they scheduled to start the induction on the night of the 18th - the baby will probably be born the 19th - which is Brittany's birthday.

I didn't really want the girls sharing the same birthday but I could see where it would be 'neat' later in life. I think Brittany is too young to understand right now but I'm afraid it will cause problems later in life.

So I have 3 weeks from today to get ready for our babygirl. I have to get some things out of storage, wash some clothes -- I'm making me a list of things to get done.

[color=000000]Getting sleep has been hard recently. If I wake up during the night it takes forever for me to get back to sleep. By the time I get to sleep it's time to go to work. I guess my body is getting me ready for what's to come pretty soon. [:)][/color]

Well I guess I will go. I hope everyone is doing well.
