I got a call Sunday night letting me know my glasses were in. I asked about Jazzy and they told me they weren't ready. Well I called before we went in on Monday and was told it would be at least 2 more days on Jazzy's.
I was going to wait but since the main reason I need mine is driving, I figured getting them right away would be a good idea.
SO D and I go before picking the girls up from school. Figured it would be easier without Jazzy with us. We get there they get mine and the woman asked about Jazzy's. I told her I called and was told they wouldn't be ready for a few days. She said hold on let me check. Went back and guess what...Jazzy's were ready.
Here she is with her new glasses. I wasn't fond of them at first but they fit her personality so well.

I went today for the results of the latest ct scan, mri, and blood tests. The lymph nodes in my neck are swollen. Right side more than the left. Right side so bad that occasionally I have a bulge from them. Kind of scary.
Well she ordered another ct scan. This time of my chest. She wants to see if lymph nodes elsewhere are swollen. She also ordered a bunch more blood tests. Pretty much anything that might cause swollen lymph nodes she is checking for.
I swear soon I'm gonna start glowing in the dark.
LOL yep. My best friend Molli and I went to pick her brother up from work and drop him off at home. (he lost his license for a year because dumb ass got a DUI. and his normal ride couldn't take him home today).
We left her husband, Kyle, and D with 8 kids. Robbie and Blaze are 9. Jazzy, Jay, Olivia, Victoria, and Gracee are 6, and Logan is 9 months old.
HA HA we are so mean. We not only left them with that many kids for 2 hours. We also decided that we were going to do an emergency girls night out with some friends.
I needed it. Its been a long time since we had a girls night out. Its was so nice to be able to relax and enjoy myself for a couple of hours.
Plus I needed to catch up on some much needed gossip.
Molli and I met when my girls were a month old and her triplets were 3 months old. We became instant friends. Her and her husband are even talking about moving up north this fall. Neither of them have family here, and really don't want to stay here. I'm excited and I know the kids are excited.
Jazzy has been driving me insane about when we are going to go pick up her glasses. I told her they haven't called to let us know they are in yet. That as soon as they call we will go get them. Yeah she's not liking that answer to much. Apparently being mom means I can make anything she wants to happen, and happen right this very minute. I wish!
I'm feeling better. Other than every muscle in my neck, stomach and back ache. I never realized how many muscles you used to throw up. Lets just say its A LOT. I'm not talking just a little, D told me I looked like the chick in The Exorcist. Thanks babe, makes me feel better.
I'm feeling better. I had that horrible stomach virus thats going around. If you haven't gotten it, pray you don't.
My stomach and back muscles hurt so bad from all the vomiting I did.
On top of feeling that bad yesterday I had to take the girls and myself to the eye doctor. I still need to make Robbie one.
Jazzy's eyes are worse than last year. Since her glasses broke (hence the ONLY reason I didn't reschedule our appointments yesterday) she had to get new frames.
Now we have VSP as vision insurance. STUPID MISTAKE!!!! I ended up having to pay for Jazzy's lenses and frames. Why, you ask. She got her glasses April last year. Ok that was over a year ago, right. WRONG! VSP's year doesn't start until Jan, so according to them, she wasn't due for new glasses until Jan 2009. Thankfully they covered the exam.
JayLyn's eyes are perfect.
I am getting glasses. They are mainly for driving, though.
I am STILL fighting with my insurance company to get them to ok my prescription for the migraine meds. Stupid people don't want to listen and its pissing me off.
I don't get what the difference is in me getting a prescription for 6 pills and refilling all the time and getting a prescription for a lot at once.
And before anyone asks...yes it would be just as easy for me to refill them all the time. However that would be much much more expensive for me, not to mention them. Plus imagine having a headache so bad it feels like your brain is being split in half. Now imagine that pain with flashing lights. Yeah not a good time to be driving to a pharmacy. And yes I would have to because I'm getting these headaches 3 or 4 times a week.
So I went and got my 2 newest prescriptions last night. Well I got one of them. The one for my headaches I can't pick up until after 2 on Monday. Its not one that is normally kept in stock.
I also got my braces. This is going to take some getting used to having to wear them when I sleep. However not waking up 4 or 5 times a night because my hands are tingling was nice.
I was supposed to get the results from the last ct scan I had yesterday, but I had to cancel that appointment so I could take Jazzy for her follow up. So now I have to wait until the 17th.
This new layout is growing on me. I still think it was released to soon, but can't change that.
I am annoyed though. People have a right to have their complaints be heard. Yes its not going to change anything this time, but maybe it will change things the next time. Like doing beta testing before releasing it to the public.
People don't take well to change. Especially a drastic change like this. Its a normal reaction. Telling people they are over reacting or being stupid for feeling the way they do isn't doing anything.
But I forgot this is Kiwibox and you're not supposed to complain about it. You're supposed to accept the way its ran and move on.
