Because I suck at updating on here anymore and i've even tried too it's hard to keep up with a bunch of sites with kids so there's ones i'll use frequently.

Long time no post :)..I thought I would post and say hi! I hope everyone is doing ok and I am so sorry for not updating..I've lost interest a lot in kiwi lately..So I just update time to time now..Nick and Meredith are doing VERY well..Nick is 8 months old and Mere is 21 months old..I can't believe she's almost two! She is having issues with weight gain though :(..She's only 21lbs and I bought her new summer clothes at target yesterday on my own and I thought "by now she's gotta wear 18 months in shorts", NOPE! Her butt still is in 6 to 9 & 12 month..So I now need to return them before we leave for Hershey Pa next Monday..

Nick is the complete opposite of Meredith he's a chunky guy for starting out at 3lbs he's 16lbs now lol..He's such a happy baby :), and so is Meredith, except she's extremely shy and timid of new situations, but I think she's starting to be more brave..She'll go to her first amusement park(s) on Monday Hershey Park & Dutch Land :)..

Not much else to update really life in general has just been really busy..

So for 4 days Jake is gone to Vegas and I have the option to go with him because my friend Tabetha offered to watch the kids..I just don't want to leave the kids yet..A few hours for a movie ok, yeah I'll definitely take that but I am not ready to leave them for 4 days..Am I crazy? naaa I just don't want to leave them..I may go in March, but I doubt my feelings will change then..

After Jake and I put Meredith to put last night I played with Nick in bed and had him in his boppy pillow.He seemed to really enjoy our game of peekaboo he ALMOST laughs, but not quite.Even though he was 11 weeks early he's not really that behind.Meredith was 6 weeks early and she wasn't behind either..She was always exactly on track for everything and ahead for some things.

Meredith had her 18 month shots yesterday and Nick had shots too, but his were synagis (a vaccine to prevent or reduce symptoms for RVS) Only preemies 30 weeks and below qualify for the vaccine..RVS is some serious stuff for ALL babies, so I wish they'd have this vaccine for ALL babies, but there's a shortage so it's only given to preemies 30 weeks and below..I do have an update on their weight.Nick is 5 1/2 months old now and he's 13lbs 9 ounces and 24 inches long and Meredith is 21lbs 9 and 32 inches..Nick is finally on the chart, but the very lower, and Meredith is 10th percentile..I am so glad she on the chart again! For awhile she was stuck at a little under 20lbs and not on the chart.However, her pediatrician did make a good point.She started at 5lbs, and she also had 2 surgeries before she was a year old, so she will be smaller..

Sunday is Jake's 32nd bday so Jake and I are going to go out just the two of us while his dad and aunt watch both kids..We both just need some time together, and I and he don't have the heart to ask people to watch them on Valentines day, so we asked if Sunday would be ok..I am SO EXCITED to get time with Jake then finally :).He and I haven't had time just he and I since the day after Christmas.I realized there are mom's that never get time, so I'm not complaining, but I happy to get some time just Jake and I :)..

Speaking of Jake he's about to be home so i'm going to get..Have a nice weekend..And if you haven't seen my video of Meredith dancing check the back entry :)

Both kiddos are doing well I'm actually chilling upstairs on my laptop now in bed and Jake is taking care of Nick for me, and Mere is asleep..I am so lucky that Jake is a huge help.In return though I am going to have him sleep in the guestroom and I'll get up with Nick tonight, which is only once, if any, but we basically are 50/50 with the kids, except I will admit Jake does give me more "me time"...

Nick is now almost 12lbs!! and he'll be 5 months old on the 24th, and Mere is still the same she's still tiny lol, and she's almost 18 months old.., and she's just 20lbs even basically (1 ounce over)..A lot of cleft lip and cleft palate babies are small because of the struggles they have with eating..I am amazed how fast Nick is growing and getting Chunky cause she never grew this fast, and actually her smallness sometimes makes me sad :(..It's like a reminder of her surgeries, almost losing her from the morphine overdose at UVA hospital, and her just not wanting to eat.She doesn't really have a big appetite at all..Our pediatrician actually SUGGESTED Mcdonalds! She loves chicken nuggets.(she's only 5th percentile)..She needs the fat though, unlike me lol.I am working on losing my baby weight still, but the healthy way, and so far I'm doing good..
