Hello Kiwis! I have much to update you on!

Are you a news junkie and/or Twitter fanatic? Go follow us on Twitter (we'll follow you back, don't you fret!). We update constantly with the latest news stories, and we want to hear from you too! Go check us out.

In other news, congrats to all the Grammy Winners! I can't believe M.I.A. performed when she was due to give birth! What bravery! All in all, it was a great show! Thoughts?

How are you guys doing on referring your friends?

Want to win some prizes but are still a couple KiwiPoints away? No worries. New contests are constantly being posted on Kiwibox, and there's some great stuff at stake! No KiwiPoints needed, just your membership, which you obviously already have, and a little bit of luck. Here's how it works:

On the home page of Kiwibox, underneath the Spotlight and the News, is a box that contains the newest contests. If you see something there you like, just follow that link. Otherwise, click "Show More" at the bottom of that box. We may have more in store.

Once you find a contest that interests you, click on the link and read about it. Sometimes, we may have you watch a video or something quick like that (none of which will affect the outcome of the contest: this is all chance, baby!)

Before you enter, make sure your profile is complete and updated. You don't want something little to void your win!

Also, make sure you're clear on the rules, all of which can be found on the contest page.

When you're done with all of that, go ahead and enter, and cross those fingers! We've had some members win big prizes, like Xbox 360 Pros!

Hey Kiwis!

Our fellow Kiwi, cosasqueson, asked if I would write about Qbooks next, which I thought was a great idea. Thanks!

Qbooks are a really simple feature of Kiwibox, which I haven't seen anywhere else! You should really get on them if you want to take advantage of everything Kiwibox has to offer. Like Postboards, Qbooks helps you connect with other Kiwis, but in a more specific form.

Here's what you do:

1. See the Qbooks link in your profile box? Click on it!

2. Find a topic that interests you, and click to enter to the book.

3. You'll see a question that the creator wants an answer to.

4. Answer it! Then click "Next Question" to be taken to the next question in the book.

Qbooks can be really helpful to the creator, and they let you explore your own opinions on things. Once you're familiar with how they work, you can create your own Qbook from the same link in your profile box? So easy!

Hey Kiwis! Hope you had a great weekend!

I want to remind you guys that a great feature at Kiwibox is the Postboards! You can get there by clicking "Postboards" in the "Your Links" section of your profile, right next to your profile picture or icon. No searching needed!

There are tons of categories and topics, so to get started, pick one that interests you, then let us know what you have to say! Once you've gotten your posting established, don't be afraid to create your own topic so you can hear other Kiwis' opinions.

A gentle reminder: Keep your posts constructive. If what you have to say doesn't really add to the topic, pick a different one, or start your own! Also, remember to be respectful - your opinion is welcome, but don't force it too hard, you know?

While you're on the Postboards, don't forget to check out the categories "Kiwigirl" and "Kiwibox Feedback." We always want to know what you have to say.

Again, go ahead and subscribe to these journals so that you don't miss anything! I'm trying really hard to answer all your questions, and this is a great outlet for that. I'll be checking! [;)]
