Well, I survived being across the street from Ryan for several hours Saturday. And, his car was out in the driveway so I know for a fact that he was home. I'm not going to lie, I was shaking on the drive there but I did okay. My sorority sisters were good at distracting me so it was only once in awhile that it got to me. It definitely set me back in my recovery process but, oh well, I wasn't about to not go see my friends cuz of him.

The party itself was fun, though. We did more talking than we did scrapbooking but I'm pretty sure that's normal for girls lol. And we had some yummy food and drinks too. I definitely am glad that I went, emotions and all. It was a lot of fun and it was nice to see sisters I don't normally see because they're all alumni now. So yay for that! :)

Yesterday I had church and out to breakfast like a normal Sunday and then my parents and I went to my sister's to give my nieces their gifts. They enjoyed their presents and were very cute. :) It's scary how fast they're growing! After my sister's I took a 3 hour nap which, let me tell you, was amazing lol. Then the rest of the day I just relaxed and didn't do much of anything.

Today I woke up feeling rather queasy so I've just been laying in bed since in hopes of feeling better soon. Later this evening I have an eye doctor appointment and then I'm going out to dinner with my mom...well, unless I still feel queasy. Then tomorrow I'm taking my car for brakes and going shopping and then Wednesday ends 2008. Woot! 2009 will hopefully be better than 2008. :)

Wow I have a lot to fill you guys in on! Hope everyone had a great Christmas, I know I sure did! Let's see, last Sunday was the last time I wrote and, man, has it been a busy week. Sunday night I went to my stepdad's work party which was at a bowling alley. I didn't bowl but I did enjoy just goofing around with my mom and having some delicious food plus a couple cranberry and vodkas lol. It was actually more fun than we expected. Monday I went out to dinner for Thai food with my mom which was pretty fun cuz she had never had Thai before so it was cool to introduce her to it. Tuesday I spent majority of the day at my grandma's making snowman cupcakes for Christmas Eve. They were sooo cute but such a pain in the ass to make lol.

Then Wednesday was Christmas Eve aka my most favorite day of the year. :D My parents, grandma, and I went to 4 o'clock mass and then went over to my aunt's for Christmas dinner. Aaaaand my boy met me at my aunt's which made me super excited! He had to work so he came kind of late and he couldn't stay long but the fact that he came just to spend a couple hours with me made me feel happy. And he definitely fit right in which was awesome. :) Dinner was fantastic and presents were fun. We do Secret Santas and my Secret Santa was my cousin who got me the David Cook CD and a $30 Michael's gift card so I can get more scrapbooking stuff. Awesome! :) And I got a really pretty stocking from my grandma that had lotion, Christmas socks, and homemade chocolate suckers in it. Mmmm. :)

After all that excitement, Larry went home and my family all went to Midnight Mass which was very beautiful. Then, after mass, my parents and I came home to open our presents. So I was definitely up 'til 4 am opening presents lol. But I got a lot of cool stuff. I haven't actually made an inventory yet but I got some nice sweaters, a digital photo album, Tinkerbell stuff, and (most importantly) my sorority lavalier! Definitely lots of good stuff!

Christmas Day we had a brunch at my grandma's, which was incredibly good, and we opened a few more presents. Finally came home and spent the rest of the day relaxing before crashing early because I was EXHAUSTED from barely any sleep the night before. But, yea, it was a really nice Christmas. :)

Yesterday was Larry and my Christmas celebration. I got to his house around 2:30ish and hung out with him until 10:30 at night. We basically just lazied around the house playing around online and watching Buffy episodes on DVD. His parents got pizza too which was yummy. In the evening we went to see one of his friends play at a local rock show. It was definitely insane but Larry protected me from the mosh pit so that was good lol. He actually held my hand the whole time we were there so I was content. I felt a little iffy cuz, at first yesterday he was kind of cranky and so I called him Mr. Crankypants and he got the hint and like a minute later he was on his bed next to me and he put his arm around me and said sorry. So that was good. I guess my only iffy feeling now is I can't help but wonder if we're ever going to be dating, like official, or not. But, I mean, do I just ask him? That's kind of a hard thing to discuss. I mean, I know he wants to go slow and that's fine, I just want to know if we're always going to be stuck at one level or if we're going to go up over time. Cuz sometimes I feel like we're just stuck and that makes me a little worried. So I don't know, I gotta say something, I just need to figure out how.

PS. Tonight's the night I'm going to a party across the street from Ryan's......I don't know if I'm emotionally ready for this.

O...m...g. I think that's the best way to sum up yesterday. Seriously, guys, it was SUCH a romantic night. Up until yesterday I've been having my doubts about Larry and I. Well, okay, maybe not doubts but, like, I didn't think I could fully give in to him because I still had so much of me wanting Ryan back. But, last night made me realize that I really truly want to be with Larry and Ryan is DEFINITELY old news. Let me explain to you why.

I got to Larry's around 3 yesterday afternoon. His mom was home so I got to meet her and she's quite the nice lady. When he introduced me she was like "Let me give you a hug, I'm a hugger." lol which so am I so I was all cool with that. :P But she was SUPER nice, I like her a lot! She seems very down to Earth too which is great cuz Ryan's mother always seemed to "fancy", if you will. Larry had to finish getting ready too so I talked to her while he was getting ready and I had a great time with her. Finally he was ready and we went to Steak N' Shake for a super yummy dinner. And he was so cute cuz, like, when we were walking into the resturant, and all night for that matter, he kept reaching for my hand and trying to be all cutesy/cuddly. Aww! :) After we finished our food, we headed down to Toledo, Ohio to go see the lights at the zoo which was about an hour drive.

The zoo was GEORGOUS! We pulled up and were blown away by all the lights. I don't think I could have asked for a more romantic night. Every chance he got, Larry was either holding my hand or had his arm around me. I don't think we let go of each other for more than 10 minutes total. And the zoo was soo pretty! There were tons of lights and the indoor displays were open so I got to see lots of fish, snakes, lizzards, crocodiles, etc. I really like that zoo, even better than the Detroit Zoo that I'm so used to. It was just really beautiful. I feel like last night brought us even closer together. :)

We left Toledo around nine at night and headed back to Michigan. Got back to Larry's around ten and I stayed for an hour watching an episode of Buffy with him. That was really cute too cuz we curled up under a blanket together and were super cuddly. And we kept making out...oops lol. He was just so damn cute! Seriously, it was like a perfect date. I fell for him even harder last night with how amazing he was being. He's definitely who I want to pursue, forget Ryan.

After all that I finally got home around midnight after driving in some shitty weather and crashed until 6:30 this morning when I had to be up for church. Went to church with my mom and grandma and then came home and had some Tim Horton's. Now I'm thinking I'm gonna catch a nap because tonight is my stepdad's work party which is like pizza and bowling so I gotta be awake for that cuz I suck at bowling no matter what so I'm pretty sure being sleepy wouldn't help my cause. :P Had to tell y'all about my date night though because it was seriously amazing. I can't wait to see him again on Christmas Eve. I can't think of anyone I'd rather have with me on my most favorite day of the year. He truly is the best Christmas present. :)
