I didn't really feel like updating so I didn't bother. My bad. :P I'll update today though! :) I had pictures for you but they're still on my camera which is downstairs and, well, I just don't feel like going to get them lol. Yesterday I didn't do much during the day but then in the early evening I went with my parents to Kroger to get a few things for school. After that we went to Arby's to get some dinner to go and then it was off to the beach for the concert. The band that played this week was REALLLLLY good so it was a lot of fun. :) And the weather was completely perfect for it too. This morning I woke up at 7:45 in the morning. Ew. But I had Ryan call me so that made for a good alarm clock. Got up, got dressed, and then met my grandma at my church for morning mass cuz today's mass was in memory of my grandpa. So went with her to that and then we went to Tim Horton's for breakfast with a bunch of people which, even though I was the only person below 60, was a lot of fun lol. After breakfast my grandma and I went to the cemetary to visit my grandpa and then we went to the mall to go to Kohls and Christopher Banks so my grandma could get some clothes. Kohls was awesome though cuz my grandma bought me housewarming presents. So I got a really cute turtle bath mat for my bathroom, a flamingo and alligator toothbrush holder also for my bathroom, and one of those ribbon memory boards for my bathroom. Don't worry, once I move in I'll have plenty of pictures of my place for you guys. We got smoothies when we were done shopping too which were verrry good. Now I just got home and so I'm taking a breather and then one of my mom's friends is coming over later because she just got a Myspace and wants a lesson on how to use it lol. So she's coming over so I can show her how. Then after that Ryan's coming over and we're taking my grandma to ColdStone so she can finally experience the awesomeness of ColdStone ice cream. So yay for cute stuff and big yay for ice cream and boyfriend time! :D Now if only I wasn't so damn tired lol. It's 85* with a heat index of 89*. Ewwww! I like warm weather but this is definitely overkill. Thank God I've been in air conditioning pretty much all day. I worked this afternoon and, due to being so hot, we opted to just stay in and watch TV and talk instead of going anywhere. Then I came home and my parents and I went to vote in the primaries and then went to Meijer's where I got some pillows for my bed at school as well as air freshener, iced animal cookies, and a cute little stuffed pug (I love pugs!). Now I'm back to hiding in the a/c for the remainder of the evening lol. Yesterday I got to see my boy, though, so yay for that! I spent the day not really doing anything. I packed a little bit for school but that was pretty unsucessful. I packed a whole two boxes...woo. lol. But then in the evening I met up with the boyfriend for some Starbucks which was quite fun. We just sat around talking and being cute and then we went next door to Taco Bell so I could get a chalupa for dinner and we sat on the hood of my car while I ate. It was a really cute night. I'm so in love with that boy. :) Now the rest of my week is pretty nice. Tomorrow going to a concert at the beach in the evening with the parentals. Then Thursday going to church, breakfast, and shopping with my grandma in the morning and then, in the evening, Ryan and I are taking her to Coldstone for some ice cream. Mmmm. :) Then for the weekend I have no idea what I'm doing but I'm sure it'll be something fun! I can't believe it's my last week of summer vacation. Next Friday I move into my apartment. Sweeeeet! :D Oh, and to answer a couple questions from last entry, my sorority is Phi Sigma Sigma and I'm moving to Saginaw for my last year of school. Thursday I went to Great Lakes Crossing (think a smaller Mall of America) with my mom for the day. That was definitely loads of fun! We ate lots of amazing food, bought some cute clothes, got our hair cut, played glow in the dark putt-putt, and I got my ears repierced cuz I had to take them out before due to metal allergies. But this time I got titanium so they better work! They're hurting a bit though when I clean them which is making me nervous cuz they didn't hurt at all to get redone. Hmmm... Friday I went to a wedding for one of Ryan's friends with him. It was a small simple wedding but really nice. I left the reception after the food part because I had to head up to Gaylord (3.5 hours north of me) for my sorority's retreat. That was one hell of a drive. I picked up my best friend Theresa about 40 minutes into the drive so that was nice but oh man. First there was major construction that took us forever to get through. Then we got lost when we got off our exit and ended up in a military gunnery/bombing range. WTF!? lol. So a 3.5 hour drive took us 5 hours...we were not pleased. But the retreat was really nice and it was a really pretty area so that definitely helped. Saturday was spent all day in meetings and stuff and then driving home at 9 at night which succccked. Luckily I have an amazing boyfriend and I called him on the way and was telling him about how I was so tired I could barely keep my eyes open and was only about an hour into the return drive. So he met me along the way and drove my car home while one of his buddies drove his car. How amazing of a boy is that!? So got to my house around 2 Sunday morning, Ryan and his friend helped me unpack my car, and then they left and I passsssed out. Yesterday I slept in a bunch and then my parents and I went to my aunt's to see if she had anything I wanted for my apartment before she sold it all. I ended up with a bunch of stuff including a couch, a mini bar stand, clothes, shoes, kitchen utensils, a dresser, etc. TONS of stuff! And then we went to her boyfriend's for a BBQ and I got a desk, desk chair, and some more kitchen stuff. Awesome! My apartment is officially furnished. :D Not to mention the BBQ was some yummy food too. And my sister and her boyfriend came by briefly when we got home and they brought my nieces so I got to see them which is always nice. :) Now today I've been lazy all day but I think I may work on packing at least one box of stuff seeing I move in a week and a half. Eek! And then tonight Ryan and I are meeting up for coffee so yay for that.
