*Holy hell, these humid days are going to kill me! And my house is a 1900 farmhouse so the way it's built we can't have central air. So we have a window a/c upstairs, but downstairs just is hot. Unfortunately the computer, TV, food, all that good stuff is downstairs. Right now the air's not on at all but I will request it when my mom gets home because it's getting unbearably hot in here. Last night took me FOREVER to fall asleep because it was too humid and gross to sleep.
*I am happy, though, cuz no bad storms came through here. We had a severe thunderstorm warning, but not much happened in my city. We tend to get lucky and somehow everything misses us. Don't know if it's lake effect or what. But we just got a really good downpour and some wind with a little lightning and thunder. The lightning and thunder ended in, like, 15 minutes though. So it was no biggy. I left my stuff in the basement, though, because predictions say this summer is supposed to be really hot and wild weather. So I figure leave it in safe keeping lol.
*Today was a good day, though. Got up around 11-11:30 and took it easy for a little while. Then went to Tim Horton's to get an iced cappucino because summer isn't official without one of those. So got an iced cap and then headed to Notre Dame to see all my guy friends. Met up with my friend Wyeisha and stayed there talking to all my friends until 4:30ish. Just got home a little while ago and now am just chilling. My stepdad went to get Subway and, when my mom comes home, we'll eat that then she's off to a meeting and I'm I don't know what. I might see if Alison wants to hang cuz I'm pretty sure she has air conditioning lol. I'll find someone who does and go there! IT'S HOT! And tomorrow's supposed to be hotter. Lovely.

*Holy shit, it's soooo hot here! It's in the 90's, but with a heat index of almost 100. And it's so humid. I feel so sweaty and gross and I'm just sitting here. There's also a huge line of scary looking storms coming that could possibly cause tornadoes. My parents and I already put all our valuables in the basement, just in case. I'm scared of tornadoes, though, so I'm a tad bit nervous. :\ If only Max was home to sit with me. I'd feel safer then.
*Yesterday was fun, though. I went to a surprise birthday party/pool party at my friend Allie's house. She was very surprised, which was good. Had lots of yummy food and swam for hours which felt really good considering yesterday was quite warm too. On the way to her house I had to stop at Max's house to get a present for Allie. Max's dad owns his own tree company so he cut me some wood that I made into a sign for her cuz her nickname for me is Woody. She got a huge laugh out of it and loved it so that made me happy. It was a lot of fun. :)
*Before the party I went to Junefest which is a one day event in my city to celebrate the beginning of summer. It was fun, but I got super sunburnt which sucks. My whole back, shoulders, and some of my chest is burnt bad cuz I had on a little speghetti strap top. Oh well. :( But at least it'll turn into a nice tan! lol. My arms are still white, though. Grrr. But it was fun and I bought myself a really pretty bracelet and a Beanie Baby that's the 2005 graduation owl. Had to get it seeing it was my graduation year and all! So yay for a good Saturday.
*Today I just had church and out to breakfast like the normal routine. Then I've been sitting here sweating balls lol. I'll be eating soon and then all the storms should be rolling in which means probably spending some quality time bonding with my basement. At least it's a lot cooler down there. Unfornunately that means tornado warnings which is bad. But we shall see as the night unfolds.

*Heylo. What's everybody up to? Lots of nothing here. Gotta make dirt cups for a birthday party I'm going to tomorrow, but I won't do that until after dinner. Other than that, nothing's been happening here. Just sitting around bored like normal. Fridays are designated bonfire nights when we all go party at Alison's, but she's in New York until Sunday so no party tonight which means a bored Kati. :( But oh well.
*Tomorrow I'm going to a surprise birthday party/pool party which should be fun. And then Sunday Alison comes home which means partying is in the near future. Her mom's dying my hair for me too so that should be soon. Yay for that! I'm not sure what color I'm going to do. Maybe you can help me decide. I'll post a couple pics of me and you tell me what would look good as a new color. I'm thinking something near my color. Like, I'm not going blonde. No way in hell lol. But lemme know what you think.
*My knee has been hurting like a bitch for the past week or so. Two summers ago I got in a car accident where I was the passanger and my knee went into the dashboard. Since then it's been hurting on and off. This past week it's been hurting pretty bad all week. Yep, definitely a tad bit annoying. But, oh well, it'll probably be that way for the rest of my life so get used to it, right?

*Yep, it's another layout. This is my summer layout. :) Even made the icon special just so I could do this layout. Anyways, hi! How's everyone doing? I'm alright. Been better, but been worse too. So, overall, not bad at all!
*Woke up this morning and was cleaning my belly button cuz the piercing's infected and it randomly started bleeding. Definitely not a good sign. I've had it pierced for two months too. So we'll have to see about that. May have to take it out which makes me super sad. Especially when I have a cute barbell upstairs that I really want to wear. So sad start to the day. :(
*The rest of the day wasn't too bad, though. Just have been doing little things around the house all day. It's another pretty day outside so yay for that. Maybe I won't be so white this summer! lol. Nothing really exciting today and probably nothing exciting tomorrow either, but going to a birthday party/pool party on Saturday so yay for that. Probably won't go swimming, though, cuz that's just how I am. But Tuesday is supposed to be 86* so maybe I'll hop in my pool or have a beach outing with my friends. Major outdoors time there! So yay for nice weather. A true summer indeed.
*Ummm...what else? I got a checking account when I was at orientation for SVSU and today my checks came in the mail. So now I have checks and a debit card/Visa for school. Trusting me with this may be a potential hazard lol. But it's kinda cool to see a Visa in my wallet and a stack of checks with my stuff. Just as long as I stay away from it unless absolutely necessary.

• Woo for June! Maybe I'll finally get a blue month. I wouldn't hold my breath on that one, though lol. Anyways, heylo and welcome to a brand new month. Started out kind of sad, actually.
• Got up early this morning to go to a funeral for a friend of mine's dad. It was definitely sad. It was nice to see how many people from my class showed up. We filled two very long rows of the church. We all cried, but it was nice to be together. After the funeral I came home and worked on my scrapbook for hours. I really want it to be done for my graduation party in a couple weeks, but it still needs a lot of work. So we'll see how that goes. Did 5 pages today, though, so maybe it'll get done afterall. Now I'm just taking life easy and having a breather. Don't have any plans for the rest of today and I kind of like it that way. :)
