Well today marks the start of my last week home. I go back Friday! I'm very ready to go back to my independance at my own place as well as my friends and sorority but I'm super sad about leaving Larry behind. :( It's going to be really hard going from seeing him once or twice a week to only seeing him like once a month. I'm going to miss him sooo much! :'( I'm glad he's coming up with me this weekend, though, because I think it'll make it a little bit of an easier transition. But it's gonna suck no matter what. :(

Speaking of Larry, tomorrow is our last date down here for awhile. After he gets out of work, we're going to CiCi's which is a pizza buffet. It's sooo yummy and they just opened one near my house which means we HAVE to go! :P So I'm buying us CiCi's as part of his Christmas present. I can't wait to see him! Last night I talked to one of my friends who's dating one of Larry's fraternity brothers and she said, knowing him, it sounds like he's falling for me and it's just a matter of time before he asks me out. She thinks it's gonna be real soon though. EEK! I sure hope so! I'm more than ready to say yes to being his girlfriend lol.

Speaking of presents, I came up with a good idea for his Valentine's Day present too. :) My best friend/sorority sister made her boyfriend a tie blanket for Christmas that was made out of his fraternity's colors and with his letters on it. I thought that was super cute so I think I'm gonna steal that idea for Valentine's Day because Larry LOVES blankets and is always cold so how perfect could that be? And, seeing my best friend made one, she can easily help me pick out how much fabric I need, what works best for putting the letters on, etc. I'm super excited about it! :D

Besides seeing Larry tomorrow, I'm also getting my hair cut. Nothing major cuz I like my hair how it is, it's just getting too long and my layers are starting to grow out. So need it trimmed up a bit to be nice and comfy length again. :) Not to mention, it'll be fun to get my hair cut right before going on a date cuz I'll feel all cute and confident lol. I think I'm just a dork, though. :P

Well, I guess that's about it. I'm gonna go back to shopping online for fabrics and stuff for thi blanket idea that I'm way too excited about lol. And I PROMISE I'll get some cute pictures of us tomorrow cuz, I know, I've been slacking in the photo department lately. My bad! lol.

So last night my plans got totally changed and, at first, I was really bummed but now I'm sooo glad they did! See, last night I was supposed to go out to eat with one of my sorority sisters. Well, she called me around 4 and my car still wasn't back from getting new brake pads so she was like "well....my other friend invited me to the movies tonight. Do you just want to do something up at school when we're back instead?". I was soooooo bummed! I mean, sure, it'd still be nice to do something up at school but the restaurant we were supposed to go to we don't have in Saginaw and I was soo excited to go there too. :( And, also, I had just finished getting ready so I looked all cute with nowhere to go and with the attitude like I really wanted to go out. So I was totally bummed. I was complaining about it on AIM to Larry while he was at work and he said maybe we could do something and that he'd call me later.

So later on he called me and I ended up going over there around 9:30 at night. I stayed 'til about 1 in the morning watching a movie with him and it was soooo cute. We curled up on his bed together all cuddly and watched "Adaptation" which is quite an interesting movie. I liked it. :) And I loved being all curled up with him, especially considering I wasn't planning on seeing him until sometime during the week. Sooo amazing. :) And he was super cuddly too which is always a plus. So yay for a wonderful evening with him. <3

Earlier today I went to Panera for lunch with an alumni sorority sister. That was a lot of fun, with all our gossip and everything lol. After lunch with her I went to Michael's because I had a couple gift cards for there so I wanted to get some scrapbooking stuff. I got some really cute papers and accessories so that trip was well worth it. After that I went and got flowers for my parents cuz it's their wedding anniversary today. Then it was back here and that's where I've been since, just taking life easy. OH! And I got the sweetest text from Larry while I was at Michael's too. I quote: "Good morning. Thanks for coming last night. I had a great time." Awww! I think I'm winning him over. :)

PS. This was part of my horoscope for the month overview. I had to start laughing. Hmmm...lol.

So it's day two of being all smiles. Yep, I think I'm really going to love this year. :) It's been amazing so far and still has more potential to come!

Yesterday Larry was here until around 4 or so and then, when he left, I just took it easy for the remainder of the day cuz I was dead tired from having been up all night with him the night before. Finally made it to bed around midnight and slept straight through to 8am when I had to get up (that's rare for me!). Had to be up early today so I could take my car in to get new brakes. It's still not done but I'm hoping it will be soon cuz one of my sorority sisters and I are going out to eat together and I don't want it to be really late. So, once my car is done, I'm taking it and meeting her at the restaurant. It's my favorite restaurant and she's buying so can't get much better than that! lol

Then tomorrow morning I'm going out with an alumni sorority sister (the same one who's house I went scrapbooking at). We're going to go to Michael's to buy scrapbooking stuff because I got some gift cards for there for Christmas and then we're going to go to Panera for lunch. Sounds nice to me! And then, in the evening, I'm doing dinner with my parents because it's their wedding anniversary tomorrow. Then Sunday I have church and out to breakfast like the usual routine and then I'm possibly going out to dinner with Larry at night. Sounds like a good last weekend home because, a week from today, I'll be heading back to Saginaw!

As much as I like being home sometimes, I'll be glad to be back in Saginaw too. Almost all of my friends are in Saginaw, my sorority's in Saginaw, and my independance is in Saginaw lol. I love my family but I like making my own rules and everything too. The only downside of going back to school is the fact that I'll go from being 45 minutes away from Larry to being 3 hours away from him. :( But, the first weekend back up there, he'll be with me so that helps at least. We'll make it work, I have faith in us. :)

Yeaaaa 2009! I'm already liking it better than 2008 lol. Seriously, I feel like the new year has brought a huge relief for me. Like a major burden has been lifted off my shoulders. All the drama, heartache, and bullshit of Ryan just went out the window with the old year. I guess that's like my resolution, to totally wipe the slate clean and forget about him. And with how AMAZING my New Year's Eve was I think that can be easily arranged. :D

Seriously, New Year's Eve was INCREDIBLE! It was the best one I can remember, for real. The day started out just relaxing around the house and getting ready for the evening. Then, later in the evening, I ran to Walgreen's to pick up contact solution and some other little things I needed, then ran to the party store to get some drinks for the evening, and then picked up my grandma to bring her here for dinner. We had a HUGE dinner with my parents, grandma, Larry, me, and a family friend all gathered around. The food was excellent and the company was even better. Eventually the family friend and my grandma went home and Larry, my parents, and I played Uno until around 11, at which point we turned on the TV for the ball drop. Had our champagne toast at midnight, watched TV for a little while, and then it was bed time. Butttt, unlike normal, I got to sleep curled up next to my boy! :D :D :D :D We stayed up 'til 4 in the morning talking and fooling around...oops ():) lol. We finally passed out around 4 and woke up at 8 for church...ew. We were dead tired but we made it! lol. After church we went out to breakfast and then to my grandma's to set up her new computer. Finalllly, after all that, Larry went home and now I'm just relaxing and trying to keep my eyes open. I'll definitely be going to bed early! But, omg, he was so incredible yesterday and today. I definitely want him and him alone. :)

Tomorrow I have to be up rather early to take my car in to get new brake pads and then I'm going out to lunch with one of my sorority sisters who lives down here by me. Then Saturday I'm going shopping and out to lunch with an alumni sorority sister and at night having dinner with my parents for their wedding anniversary. And then Sunday I have church (for the last time before back to school...wooo! lol) and that night I think Larry is going to come into town and we're going to go out to dinner. What an awesome start to 2009. I think this year has a lot of potential.

Not to mention it's the year I graduate college. ;)

Praise the Lord, 2008 is done! Really, overall, it was a pretty shitty year so I will NOT be sad to see it go lol. Not to mention, 2009 is my college graduation year soooooo I already have something to look forward to in the new year. I don't really have time for an entry today because I have to shower, help get the house ready, run to the store, pick up my grandma, and then we're having a new year's get together here. My mom's making a huuuuge dinner for my parents, grandma, Larry, and I. Ohhh and Larry's spending the night tonight!!! :D :D :D :D Good start to my new year already! Sooo, with that being said, I need to get a shower and get my day started. Have a great end of 2008/beginning of 2009 and I'll talk to y'all in the new year.
