I must apologize I have been a bad sub and writer lately. I have been busy with work. Lately my work has not ended when I have left the building. I have been working on new menus for the hospital. I only have a few diets that I need to finish. I hope to be done tonight.

I will get to the dressing up thing I hope tomorrow. Just remind me to do so. Thank you all for being patient and reading my journal even though it has not been much lately.

So I really had my meeting today. I also have one on Wednesday. It went well, and it was nice to socialize with them. They are a fun group of people. I got the update for the H1N1 virus. In case some might not know that is what they call the swine flu. My dad works for homeland security for the state of Utah, so I know a little more than they did.

I would make this entry a little bigger, but I have some work that I need to get done. Take care!

It's funny though.. because Kristine just told me tonight that I was a trooper cause I worked six days in a row, just like a manager would. ahaaa. funnyyy!!!! I barely made it through though, I think. lol.

but this whole working alot thing could be good or bad. I guess the good part is the money part. everyone could use more of that, im sure. but, id think the bad part is not getting time to yourself or to see your woman. =[ everyone needs woman time. ugh.

Well, there was someone that was fired in my department. I bet you will never guess who they asked to pick up their shifts. Oh...you guessed..It was me. As it looks I will work a total of I think it's 15 days before I get a day off. It's all good though.

Nothing really exciting happened today. Someone in my department tried to give me a hard time today. All I was doing is trying to do my job, and he didn't want to give me what I wanted. Well, my director heard about it and told him that he has no place getting in the way of patient care. He was a little upset, but oh well.

Here is a translation for you.

I just wanted to thank all my subs and those that randomly read journals a Happy 4th of July. It's funny because during the course of my life people have asked me if I celebrate the 4th of July. You see I am Native American in case you didn't know. I guess because of this people don't think I do. The answer is yes. I understand that many years ago my ancestors had something taken from them that they wanted to pass on. As part of my culture we understand that things happen that are beyond out control. That no man can own take anything with him when they move on. I rejoice in the fact that life goes on and Independence day to me has taken a different view. I'm thankful for the wonderful opportunities I have everyday because of those that have defended our freedom. I know their are a lot of people out there that have their own opinions on it and that is great. That is their right. I could go on about it, but I figure if you want to talk about it you would let me know.
