Hi! Yesterday was fun. We went to eat lunch at my cousin's house. The wings were fabulous. Spent some time there with him, then came back into town for a bit. I picked up some dinner for Mike & my dad real quick then left to Edna's house to play chalupa. Once again I didn't do so well. Totally sucks! Next weekend I don't think we'll play because it's going to be Lauren's birthday party so we're all going to that.

In the morning I got a chance to do some laundry, didn't get to finish, but only have 2 loads to do today, so glad about that! At least I won't have to waste my Sunday doing tons of laundry. Don't have any plans for the day though. But just being around the house being a bum doesn't sound like a bad idea to me either! hehe But we'll see.

Also finally got around to taking Chloe a much needed bath! She hated it of course, but oh well. It had to be done. [:P] I had been meaning to do it all week, but for the first few days I'd come home so tired, then when I finally did feel alright, I'd spend it catching up on other housework so it wouldn't fully pile up for the weekend.


Well, Mike wants to watch me to watch a movie with him... not really in the mood to watch one, but I'll reply back to a letter while he's paying more attention to it then me. LOL [:P] Hope y'all are having a good weekend too! Bye.

Hello. Sorry I've been MIA. As y'all know, I started my new job. Training is going good so far. I haven't freaked out about all the stuff being taught, so that's a good sign. [;)] We're known as the fun class to the rest of the classes. There's 4 total classes. So far 15 people out of 100 have quit. So crazy! Yes it's a lot of stuff and yeah it does sound tricky to understand right now, but we won't fully know how we'll do till we actually get on the phones, some didn't even give themselves that chance. Sad, but true. What seems really cool about it is that they really seem like genuinely nice people. Our main manager of the company told us he plans on buying everyone a frame to put on their desks. Who does that??? Like seriously, they welcome us everyday, offer us extra breaks and longer lunch hours due to tons of construction still being done all around us and we don't have a break room yet, so they let us eat in the room and have more time to go out to a restaurant if we need to. We found out during the week that they won't be having us work on the weekends after all for a long while! So happy about that one. And they won't be open for super long hours during the week either (7AM-8PM), as of right now. They do change their minds and things could change, but they plan to take longer time with that, they want to make sure we adjust well enough to be able to work longer hours and on weekends. They also have some jobs (for higher positions) that can totally work from home! Jobs I didn't think could normally be done from home when working in a call center (like a supervisor can work from home... never have had a job before that would allow that) They are also going to allow some of us to apply for more jobs that are going to becoming available soon now that the building and training is all coming together. So that's exciting. I am going to look into them to see if there's any clerical positions. Granted whether I get a new position or now, at least I'll have a job there still and can hopefully do well and move up eventually, you know? The only thing we're not happy about is we're not getting paid till another 2 weeks! That sucks. We got "screwed" and will always be 1 full week behind everyone else on being paid. Not cool! Plus they believe on being a paperless company, so they won't hand-out any paper checks there. Instead we'll have to get them by mail or set up a direct deposit, totally sucks! I'm gonna have to wait to get mine in the mail till I can set up another checking account. The one Mike and I had, we closed recently due to some conflicts with the bank. [:/]

Anyway, enough about my work. hehe Lily is having so much fun spending time with Aaron (her b/f). Mike's brother has spoiled them all week by taking them to the Children's Museum, zoo, beach and bird center.

Mike is doing well too. Him and my dad are loving not having to make breakfast for themselves anymore. LOL I make it for all of us.

Today, my mom, Elena and I will be going to a town about an hour away to my cousin, Rudy's house. He's making us wings for lunch. Yum! Then we're supposed to play chalupa, but I might now go to that... we'll see. I have the $, but I really want to save it to spend during the week at work, like on soda or candy bar when I get a craving. [;)]

Well, I'm gonna end this here and head off to bed. We've been going to bed early (by 9 or 10 at the latest), I'm super sleepy already. geeeez! [:P] Bye!

Hello. Well today is my first day at UHG. Nervous? Yes and no. *ha* Though, during the Open House one of the Supervisors said we probably wouldn't do much leanring on the first day. I'm assuming we'll be mostly filling out paperwork. Let's just hope she was right! Because my mind is going a million miles a minute. *lol* I just really hope that their training won't be anything like their Open House. But we shall have to wait and see as it goes on.

Anyway, yesterday was good. My mom, Lily and I went out for a while to do some shopping of stuff I wanted to get for work. Elena joined us as we were leaving Wal-mart. We then went to Edna's house for a while. We took some food, and talked.

Got stuff ready for the week in the evening, so it went by really quickly. By the time I knew it, it was time to go to bed. booo! lol I'm so used to staying up late, it felt weird going to bed early, but thankfully, I didn't toss and turn to much and got enough rest.

I'm slowly getting ready this morning. Right now, waiting for Mike to get out of the bathroom, so I can go in to start straightening my hair.

Mike will be dropping Lily off at his brother's house this morning. She's still asleep, don't plan on waking her up till 7AM. She's excited about going because she'll get to be with her "b/f" all day. *haha* Mike will also be picking her up since he gets out of work before I do.

Well, gonna end this here and go start on my hair. Hope y'all have a great day! Won't be able to get to journals till the evenings now. Entries will also be put up in the mornings when possible, till I get adjusted with everything. Bye!

Hello! Hope y'all are having a wonderful weekend. Mine is going well. This is going to be my last entry posted during the night... start work on Monday. eeeeek! So for a while till I adjust, I'll probably be posting entries in the evening. Okay, now that, that's out of the way... haha The graduation party was okay. The food was great, sucks we didn't stay late enough for the cake though. Heaven forbid we skip chalupa. LOL I lost $5. sigh oh well. I don't plan on playing next week due to being short on cash, but we'll see. If I can hold out on spending what I do have, then I might. [;)]

Today, don't have set plans, but I do need to get things ready for the week so that's what I hope to get around to doing. Now let's just see if I don't get lazy and not end up doing it and then juggle organizing things during the week. haha

Hello. Just got home seriously about 15 minutes ago from Elena's house. They were having a late BBQ and invited us. We had fun. [:D] I even drank an awesome margarita wine-cooler Gracie had in the fridge. My aunt gave it to me. I really shouldn't have since I should take my cold medication instead tonight to sleep (don't drink it during the day because it makes me drowsy), but oh well. I'm still feeling the same and still have my cold pretty bad. [:/] So, skipping it one day won't kill me.

Yesterday was good. Went to Butthead's near noon. When I got there, Butthead had already calculated the invoices, but he wanted me to recheck them. I did and found 2 with huge mistakes. He would have lost $100 if I hadn't caught the mistakes. He felt stupid. *ha* His excuse was that when he did them he was in a "hurry." Whatever! He didn't dare input them though on the computer. So I had that to do, plus recalculate the totals minusing the free miles that the motor club gives to each customer. He also got 2 calls while we were there so he wasn't there for a good while. It was great! lol I didn't have anything else to do, so I did wait around for 1 of the invoices, but not the 2nd one. That one he'll have to figure out and input. My aunt said Abby has sort of been ignoring her so she doubts she's going to help after all. I do feel bad for my aunt, but not for Butthead. I told him I'd teach him what to do till he could find someone else, but he said he already knew it. Okay! As I was closing up the office and he was about to leave on the 2nd call, he told me that if I ever need a job that this one will be available for me. I didn't want to be a total bitch, and just said okay. Though in my head I was thinking "yeah right!" LOL I'll really have to get desperate. [;)]

Rudy (Elena's son/my cousin) offered me a job with TWC. He's supposedly the new district manager and needs to hire 50 people. So he told me if I don't like it over at UHG, that he'll hire me. I'd be on the sales side not tech support. I told him I worked there before,but on tech support. I always heard that the sales side was so much easier.

So there's yet another job offer. I appreciate they consider me, but I'm just starting a new job, let me see how it goes and not make me feel like they're just waiting for me to fail, you know?

Today we all plan on going to my 2nd cousin's college graduation party. Then we will go play chalupa. It's already been decided. LOL Edna and Elena went over to Butthead's house while my mom, Lily and I were still there.
