I had to babysit today for my boyfriend's nieces & nephews. As stressful as it can be, I actually love doing it. It makes me feel like I have a purpose. This was the first time I really babysat them without my boyfriend with me. He was helping his dad mow lawns, so I offered to help his mom watch her grandkids. There were five of them: three boys & two girls. They're a handful. Half of them don't like to listen, & like to test me to see how far they can get with me. One always throws a fit & pouts when he doesn't get his way, & the other I worry about cause he seems a little psychotic (serious previous episodes that I'm not going to disclose). But I handled it pretty well, I think. I love doing it though. As bad as they can be, I love them a lot.

I'm sure everyone's already heard about the "Gay Marriage" controversy on Miss USA. Miss California was asked by judge & celebrity blogger (who is gay), whether or not she approves of gay marriage. She stated that she thinks marriage should be between a man & a woman.

Personally, I respect everyone's opinion on this, but this just frustrates me so much. Ask anyone who's against gay marriage why they think it's wrong. The majority of them will say something about the bible. But, our country is not supposed to be ran by religion. Obviously people are forgetting the first amendment: Freedom or RELIGION!!! Yeah, I know there's more to that amendment, but that's the point I'm trying to get at. It infuriates me when states rule against gay marriage. I think everyone should have the right to marry whoever they want, regardless of race or gender. And I really don't understand how allowing gay marriage is going to hurt anyone. It's not like you HAVE to be gay. Let other people do what they want, & stop trying to run our country under one religion.

I feel terrible. I don't know if I'm sick or it's just allergies, but either way I hate it. And the weather is probably not much help. It went from me wearing shorts & a tank top a few days ago to heavy snow this morning. Don't get me wrong, I love snow, but not in Spring. :(
