Happy October everyone! How are you all doing? Good I hope. Things are pretty good here. I worked 3-9 yesterday. Mckenzi & I put up a bunch more Christmas stuff. It's still not all up yet but we have half of an aisle of Christmas stuff. I have today off which I'm very glad about.

Lorelai ended up needing a diaper change at almost 4:00 this morning & she didn't want to fall asleep after that so I was up with her until almost 9:00 this morning. I ended up not waking up again until 11 & she woke up almost an hour later. Sean stopped by the dentist today before he came home to get a prescription for antibiotics. He still hasn't gotten his abcess tooth taken care of so we're going to have to stop by my work to fill his prescription today. I also want to stop by Yesterday's (a consignment store) to see if I can find any undershirts for me & see if there's any winter baby clothes that I like that we can get for Fiona.

I'm not sure if we're doing the apple picking today or not. Right now Sean is taking a nap & I still have to get myself & Lorelai ready before we leave. It's cold out again today. I'm starting to pull out my sweaters! lol Looks like today will be a non rainy day for once this week too which I'm glad about. We've had so much rain lately it's ridiculous.

Hey everyone. How are you all doing? Good I hope. I can't believe today is the last day of September! There's only three more months until 2010, how crazy is that? It seems like this year flew by like nothing. We've already started putting out more Christmas stuff on the shelves. Nothing majorly Christmas like yet, just gift ideas so far but I have a feeling that today we're going to be putting out candles & other stuff that seems more Christmas like.

Yesterday I woke up when Sean got up to get ready for work at 5:30. Couldn't sleep after that so I watched some Gilmore Girls. Woke up again at 7:00 when my mom brought Lorelai into my room before she had to leave for work. Lorelai stayed next to me & cuddled while she had her bottle & watched TV. We both ended up falling asleep for a bit. Then I got us both some breakfast & she watched TV & played while I made my entry & whatnot.

Took my shower & then started a load of laundry. Folded & put away clean clothes. Worked on some homework while Lorelai took a nap. I had to work 2-9. Did my CBT's first & then started working on the price changes & beer counts. Steve left at 6:00 so I was on register the rest of the night. Today I'm working 3-9. Then I have tomorrow off! :) Yay! We might be going apple picking with Melissa tomorrow. I need to ask Sean if he wants to go after he gets out of work.

Hey everyone. How are you all doing? Good I hope :) Things are pretty good here. Yesterday I woke up at 8:00, Lorelai was still asleep so I worked on homework & had breakfast. Lorelai woke up around 9:00. Got her changed & got her breakfast. Sean called on his break at work & we talked for a bit. After I hung up with him I made my entry & whatnot. Then played with Lorelai until I had to take a shower. Folded & put away clean laundry. I was going to do some more cleaning & organizing in our room but I felt too lazy :P lol

Lorelai took her afternoon nap. Sean came home & we relaxed & had lunch. Then I finished getting ready for work & got Lorelai ready. I had to work 3-9. Closed with Mckenzi & Marge. I worked on some recalls & then zeros. Today I'm working 2-9, closing with Mckenzi. Jackie (she used to work at our store as a supervisor until she transferred) was in the store yesterday. I hadn't seen her in about a year when I brought Lorelai over to the store she transferred to for a visit.

Looks like it might rain again today. It isn't as cloudy though. I got my grades back for lessons 6-8 yesterday :) All A's! Well I guess that's pretty much it. I'm going to get to journals & then relax until I have to get ready for work. Have a good one! <3Aisling

Hey everyone. How are you all doing? Good I hope. Things are pretty good here. Yesterday I had the day off. When I woke up I got online, made my entry & whatnot. Then had some breakfast. I was going to give Lorelai a bath but my mom beat me to it. She's still throwing screaming/crying fits when we give her baths. It's because of how Sean gives her baths :( Lorelai hates her hair being done & Sean doesn't try to coax her with her toys or anything to calm her down, he just gets down to business, gets her & her hair washed & lets her cry. So I'm going to try start giving her baths in the morning so he doesn't do it in the afternoon.

It ended up raining all day non-stop yesterday. The roads were pretty bad so Sean & I didn't go to the store to use more of the WIC checks. I started going through Lorelai's old baby clothes & I pulled out what Fiona can wear right away. Sean's mother called him & they talked for a bit. She usually calls every Sunday. She seemed to be really judgmental (he had her on speakerphone) & it bugged me. She kept saying "hmm" when they were talking about Fiona. She's really insistent thinking it's a boy, not a girl (even though you can clearly see on the ultrasound pictures that it's a labia, not a penis!) & when she asked about the name she said "Why Fiona? Why do you want an Irish name?"

I just wanted to come out & tell her "because it's OUR DAUGHTER & OUR choice!" but I didn't. I kept my mouth shut. I asked Sean after he hung up with her why she was being so judgemental & he said she wasn't, that's just the way she is. Whatever, doesn't really matter anyway I guess considering she's in South Carolina & I've never met her.

When Lorelai took her afternoon nap I got my assignment for lesson 9 done. I've started lesson 10 :) I'm hoping to hear back about my grades for lessons 6-8 soon. The rain ended up being so bad that it knocked the signal for the satellite out. By then it was time to get Lorelai into her pajamas. She stayed in our room for a good while. I put her in her room at one point & she played for awhile but when I went to check on her again she wasn't tired enough so I brought her back into our room. She cuddled with me while we watched Scooby Doo & a little while later I brought her into her room & she didn't want to sleep in her crib. She insisted on sleeping on her floor with her blanket & Dora pillow,lol.

Today I have to work 3-9. It's another dreary day outside but so far no rain. Fall is most definitely here! lol The geese have already been flying south. Well I guess that's pretty much it. Have a good one! <3Aisling

Hey everyone. How are you all doing? Good I hope. Things are pretty good here. Yesterday I woke up around 9:00. Got Lorelai out of bed, changed & got her breakfast. Then I had breakfast & made my entry while Lorelai watched TV & played in the living room. I didn't get to journals yesterday because Lorelai started being really fussy, I was lucky I was able to make my entry. She wanted to go upstairs in our room to be with her daddy :) So she sat on our bed watching him play his xbox & I started reading my library book. I finished reading Water For Elephants which was really good. I totally recommend reading it! Now I'm reading After The Funeral by Agatha Christie.

After awhile I put Lorelai in her room to play because Sean wanted to go outside & do some yard work & I needed to get a shower & start getting ready for work. After my shower I folded & put away laundry. By then Lorelai woke up from her nap so I brought her downstairs & we both had lunch. I had to work 1-9. Worked on truck until Marge's shift was over. Then I was on register for the night. It was just me & Mckenzi closing. Pharmacy closed at 7:00 & it was pretty dead since the balloon festival is going on. I think the balloon festival might be canceled for today because it's raining though.

After work I came home, brought Lorelai in our room to watch Scooby Doo for awhile. Then I put Lorelai in her room to play because I was getting tired. At first she did her usual crying but she settled down after a few minutes. I had a snack & watched TV for a bit. Checked on Lorelai a little while later & she was asleep on the floor so I put her in her crib. Luckily she didn't wake up, just cried a little bit in her sleep.

I have today off :) I need to finish my homework for the assignment I'm working on so I can start on my next assignment. Also need to work on organizing our room. Plus I want to go through all of Lorelai's outgrown clothes that we're keeping so I can sort out what Fiona will be able to wear right away & what will have to be put up according to if she can wear it or not with her age vs. the weather.

Sean says Fiona isn't a definite for the first name but I think that's what we're going to stick with. He says he wants Fiona Marie but I like Fiona Riley or Fiona Rose the best. I think Marie is just used way too often as a name. As it is Marie is Sean's mother's middle name & my cousin Brianna's middle name. Plus I have a cousin Maria. So yeah, for the meantime I'll just have to try to get him used to the Fiona part & then work on wearing him down on the middle name :P My mother had to remind Sean the other day that at first he didn't like Lorelai's name,lol. The name he did agree with me on right away was Lorelai's middle name which is the same as my middle name, Siobhan.

Well I guess that's pretty much it. I need to get some breakfast. Have a good one! <3Aisling
