Mario, a Baltimore native, is quickly climbing the charts with his hit single "Just A Friend 2002." If you haven't heard Mario's song, you must have had your radio turned off all summer. The infamous lyrics "Oh baby you got what I need" from "Just A Friend 2002" made it to the top 10 list of the radio airplay charts shortly after its release. After "Just A Friend" took over the radio waves, it also hit BET's 106 and Park Countdown, shooting straight to the number 1 spot. This boy is hot stuff.

Here's proof of his talent: singing and piano-playing sensation Alicia Keys is featured on two songs on Mario's self-titled debut album, Mario. "He has one of the most beautiful and original voices I've ever heard from such a young man," said Keys about Mario. People are agreeing--fans flock to see him and hear him sing. His CD is being rapidly scooped up. After spending only 2 weeks on the Billboard charts so far, Mario is currently the fifth best selling R&B/Hip-Hop album in the country (last week it beat out The Eminem Show for the number three spot).

The reason i love Mario is because he has his own style he is fine
and a sweet and angelic voice. His lyrics inspire me. The fact
that he is still very young is good because he can relate to
everyone even the older community.

I have to say I love his voice. He is so talented with it.

people... actually alot of people smacked me with reality. They

Mario knows how I feel about him and what I think about him. A
lot of other people know, too. But, I'd never get tired telling
why. I love Mario because he's Mario. He keeps it real. His
money isn't blinding him, he still acts like sixteen. The way

Mario has amazing talents for only being 15 years old. He has a

good! what more can u ask for? He has original voice and he's real
down to earth about his success, he doesn't let it get to his
head. He throws a great stage performance too! He's doing whatever
he can to help promote his album, and he's doing it alone too,
from the Nick Concert, the Early Show, to the Montell Show. I
think it takes a lot of talent and time to do something like that,
and I just gotta give him madd props for it! And the fact that
