Paintball, what a game! For those who are not in the know about the exhilarating sport, the aim of the game is to splatter your opponents with paint before they can splatter you. You are given a gun, goggles and probably overalls (you have to buy the paint balls for $6.00) . Once you have all the equipment and tools necessary, you simply fill your gun, powered by an attached canister of carbon dioxide and fire away.
If you are hit, yes, it does hurt. It is like being punched from close range but the pain all depends on the proximity of shooter to you. The closer the shot the more painful the blow. At most companies the rules are simple: Get hit and your out.
To spice things up even more you may be given either a smoke grenade or paint grenade both of which really add to the fun. The smoke grenade ejects smoke and is great when trying to raid opposition territory. The paint grenade will explode paint and is great for disqualifying many people at once.
You could be split into two teams and then be challenged with an objective. These could include such activities as Capture the Flag (self-explanatory), Speedball (a frantic run around a small area with not much to hide behind) or my personal favorite Capture the Castle, again self-explanatory. The excitement is unbelievable.
