Night at the Museum

When Exhibits Come to Life

Ben Stiller leads an all-star cast in Night at the Museum, a family-friendly comedy about, you guessed it, a night watchman at New York's Museum of Natural History. Stiller's clumsy night watchman character somehow manages to trigger a dormant curse that brings the dioramas to life. This causes Romans, Gladiators, Mayans, cowboys, and even a none-too-pleased T-Rex to run wild through the museum in this cute family comedy.

Stiller plays Larry Daley, a dreamer from Brooklyn who never really made anything of himself. He gets a job as the night watchman for the Museum of Natural History to show his ex-wife (Kim Raver) and son (Jake Cherry) that he is responsible; the reason he has the job doesn't matter so much as what happens while he is at work. With a slightly garish production design to boost his vision, director Shawn Levy goes all-out in his quest to bring even the nuances of the museum to life.

It was enteartaning, funny and cute but not the bst movie of
course. Still, one of the must be watch movie of this month.
Their's not good movie's out right now so watch it!
I really enjoyed this movie it was cute and adorable and I pretty
much just absolutely loved it!
i wanna see that movie
seems so funni XD
Went to see this largely cause I used to work in a museum (the 1
in London, not the movie), and it was easy to imagine stuff
happening after hours when everyone's gone.

Anyway, the movie was ... OK. Average stuff. Bits were funny,
other bits were dull/stupid, and I think they could have done a
lot more interesting stuff with the same basic idea. It felt kind
of like Jumanji, but weaker. Which is a shame, really.
I love the part when he brings his items from home and everything
goes wrong even his other security buddies turn out wrong. Owen
Wilson in a cowboy outfit... So Sexy
when u first watch the trailer, it didn't really have the appeal
factor. but i'm so glad i dragged my sisters and cousins to watch
it because we all LOVED it!i laughed so much and so hard that i
didn't mind at all because everyone in the theatre was laughing
out loud too!
i wasnt sure if the movie was going to be any good but i LOVED it
and i think they cast it sooo well :) it made me laugh and when
that happens, it must mean its a good movie
i wasn't really wanting to see this movie, then i went with my
mother and brother and really enjoyed it. it was funny,
clever...and just a n all out fun family movie. and thank the Lord
it was actually clean...i only remember one cuss word
funny how my post got deleted.

I'll post it again.

Daley does not trigger the curse, that is the egyptian tablet.

the t-rex is not "none too pleased". he's content chasing his
bone.

I've noticed that the spelling error in "clark" has been fixed,
also the original information which said that Theodore Roosevelt
was the first president of the united states. Good for you guys:
did you need to delete my post?

However, it STILL says that Lewis and Clark added to the museum
confusion. THEY WERE NEVER LET OUT OF THEIR BOX UNTIL THE END, NOR
DID THEY ATTEMPT CONTACT WITH DALEY... EVER! They simply don't
add ANYTHING to the plotline.

Again, i say, if your going to write a movie review... PAY
ATTENTION. You might get more out of it. Hell, I was half asleep
when I saw this and caught more.
Yeah I really want to see this movie. It looks funny and Ben
Stiller is a great actor.
Yea I read this review earlier and I was going to say that too,
that he doesn't trigger the curse, the old guys already knew it
was there. And the T-Rex isn't none-too-pleased either. It's
pretty happy through the movie. lol.

But anyway, I actually liked this movie a lot. It was hilarious
for most of it. I wasn't going to see it, but my boyfriend wanted
to see it on New Years Eve, so I just said okay to that one, and
I'm happy I did because I loved it.
it wuz a pretty funny movie i liked when the monkey peed on
Stiller! plus Stiller is one of my fave actors... along with Owen
Wilson
i agree with jess. cuz the older guys said that the cures also gav
them more power, thats y the old men somehow beat up Stiller, at
the begining lol. plus they were scared and the old man said that
stiller should read up on his history!! that doesnt trigger it,
the shiny goldy thingy worked for years to bring the museum to
life
This movie is really good but Stiller's character doesn't trigger
the curse!!! Every website I go to says this and it isn't true!!!
The other night guards know about it(they hire Stiller to take
their place) and they give him instructions on how to take care of
all the things that come to life.
