From caped crusaders to subway-track evaders, everybody loves a hero. And with comic-book based movies at an all-time high it's only right that we point out the most heroic personas that will dominate movies and TV in 2007. Bust out the neon spandex and futuristic gadgets, 'cause here we go:

Spidey is back in a third installment of the popular and critically-acclaimed Spider Man series. With his superhero identity no longer a mystery to his girlfriend Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst), Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is caught between two worlds: One of crime-fighting and his own.
So far, Spiderman has defeated the Green Goblin, foiled Doc Ock's devious plans and destroyed an electromagnet the size of City Hall. In Spiderman 3 he will face-off with Venom. Yet for all of his deeds his most heroic was remaining anonymous in the process...or is his greatest deed sitting back and watching his crush Mary Jane date shmuck after shmuck without punching each one square in the jaw?
In the end, he got the girl anyhow. The hero always does.
