Politics as usual with this Missouri-based quartet.
This New York-based quartet is prepared to rock in '09.
The hard rock quintet gets sinister on "Cinco Diablo."
Sticking to what they do best on their fifth album.

Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?

Being homesick effects people in the most peculiar way. Some conjure up memories of family and friends to not only keep sane, but as a tool of anticipation until the fateful day you return to that habitat; others are not so optimistic.

Kevin Barnes, head shaman of indie-pop favorites Of Montreal was holed up--seemingly incommunicado--in Norway with his wife and child, far away from his longtime home in Athens, Georgia. The result of his loneliness and depression is well-documented in Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?, their most bittersweet collection of songs since 2004's Satanic Panic in the Attic.
