A Couch Potato's Dream

Isn't it great when you can get anything you want without having to put in an ounce of effort? You can have your groceries delivered to you whenever you want them; you can order take-out online and have it at your door in 30 minutes or less. Medicine, flowers, singing telegrams? All can come right to your door for your medicinal, floral, aurally-stimulating communication convenience. Now that winter has forced most of us to stay within the warm and cozy confines of our homes let your mailman (who is apparently unstoppable in the face of rain, sleet, or snow!) bring the fun to you.

As you probably know, Netflix, the absurdly popular movie rental website, allows its subscribers to rent the newest releases and have them sent directly to their door (free of postage!).

The sign-up fee, paid monthly based on your plan, is all the user needs to worry about. Netflix's most popular plan is $17.99 a month and allows the subscriber to rent three DVD's at a time in a revolving queue allowing them to keep a continuous list of the movies they'd like to see. And if you're not sure what you want to watch, invest a little time looking through their expansive list of films. Netflix boasts a library of over 70,000 titles ranging from the newest releases to older classics, so there's no excuse to not find something everyone can enjoy.

I love netflix. Our family started using it right after it came
out and its awesome! we get 3 at a time and its the perfect
amount. And i love having the dvds for as long as you want, and
actually have the time to watch the special features or listen to
the commentary if that's your thing. Especially with the 2 movie
stores we have, the movies are due the next day at 6 so that
sucks. so join netflix!
People r talking about netflix but gamefly is just as cool too!
My brothers got me into gaming and now we all use gamefly and I
run to the mailbox everyday hoping for the next game LOL!!
I joined Netflix during the summer, but I cancelled it. I had all
these DVDs and no time to watch it. They were never late with my
DVDs and if a DVD wasn't in the library, I would email Netflix a
request and they gave me the DVD that I wanted. I would
definitely recommend joining.
I joined Netflix on Tuesday, my first movie is supposed to come
today! I am doing the free trial now, but I am going to continue
after that if i like it. I did the one at a time, unlimited per
month plan.
i just joined netflix like a week ago and i'm in love with tih.

btw the way i loved little miss sunshine...they got quite a few
oscar nods too. Its my latest netflix movie.
With the prices of places like Blockbuster and hollywood it's no
wonder people are joining netflix and gamefly.

A DvD for a week at blockbuster is 4.99. now, they say there is no
late fee but if you fail to return it your credit card is charged
for the amount of the movie. Where as with netflix 4.99/month is
cheaper than one video rental. In the course of a month you could
easily rent 3 additional movies or more from netflix and save a
lot.

This is definately the way to go for people who prefer to rent
movies. You'll save a bunch of cash in the end.
