A debut album, talk show and sitcom appearances...all within the next week! Kiwibox talks to Katharine McPhee about the recording process, taping Ugly Betty and how she got involved with Lonelygirl15.Kiwibox: This upcoming week is looking to be one of the busiest weeks of your career so far, with your debut album coming out and various talk show appearances scheduled. How are you coping with everything?
Katharine McPhee: It's all coming together. I'm so excited! I started putting my band together today, and I'm really anxious to perform these songs live. When we started recording the album last year I never would have realized that I would be at this point, talking about the finished record.
Kiwibox: When did the recording sessions start for your album?
Katharine McPhee: The first day of recording was on September 24th, and I worked on it nonstop until the 28th [of September], with most days consisting of ten to fifteen hours' worth of singing.

the way. I think she has a great voice. Her picture to me is kinda
inappropriate but I personally don't care for it. I think she has
a beautiful voice and that I want her first album. i heard her
song on the radio and it wasn't as good as I thought it would be.
She isn't doing as well as that one Chris guy with "it's Not Over"
song. I love that song!!!he's doing great. Kelly Pickler is doing
okay too. All of them are great but is there someone missing? How
about Taylor Hicks??? The real American Idol!!!!!! he dosen't have
a song out yet. When I think about it I forgot about him. He is
in like hiding or something. i have heard abput him since he won
American Idol. Wow!!!!!!!!! That's pretty sad. katherine should
have won American Idol. They gave her all the boring songs and
gave Taylor all the fun songs. Bogus, if you ask me. Well that's
all I think. Bye
