The unattached are keeping busy with schoolwork, their jobs and other activities.
"The drama department does singing telegrams on Valentine's Day as a fundraiser, so I'll be singing "Build me up Buttercup" all day," said Emi, 16.
Others are choosing to mark the day but celebrating their single status.
"Me and some friends are going to have a little group party and we're going to give each other little Valentine's Day party favors," said Lena, 18.

when they should know you love them all 365 days of the year!
