After over 20 years of solid hits to her credit, Madonna has put forth what looks to be her most successful release yet. The Confessions Tour two disc DVD/CD set is a veritable front row seat to Madonna's biggest live spectacle since her Blonde Ambition days.

Storming out the gates with a cover of Donna Summers' "I Feel Love" Madonna sets the tone for the remainder of the ride--meaty, beaty, big and bouncy (to take a phrase from The Who's compilation album). One of Madonna's most redeeming qualities is her positive carelessness; she does things her way, critics be damned. Even without the bright lights and million-dollar stage act she would be a force to be reckoned with.

Talking about Madonna's songs are a moot point this far into her storied career; every one has been evaluated, re-evaluated, picked apart and loved all over again. Outside of 2003's disastrous American Life she has mined pure pop gold out of controversy, sex and religion--usually in the same song ("Like A Prayer," "Vogue," "Like A Virgin," etc.).

She is a great role model she is no spring chicken anymore but she
still knows how to keep it real and push the limits!

Keep up the Awesomeness
I saw The Confessions Tour - it was good but insanely hot (as in
the temp). Madonna refused to allow air conditioning saying it
hurt her vocal cords.

Its so amazing how physical she is! Dancing all around, jumping
off cages. She's so amazing, she's so talented, she's so savvy.

I loved the 'Sorry' remix - that whole video opening. I got on
YouTube and watched it before the DVD came out.

I do wish her stuff wasn't staged as much though. The tickets are
so outrageously expensive - I'm sure partially because its Madonna
but another part because of all the props. Its so perfectly
staged though its like she can't really interact with the
audience. I'd love to see her at a smaller venue just acting like
a rock star but, when you go to see Madonna you don't just go for
the music - you go for the show.

Of the tours I've seen in person though (Drowned World,
Reinvention and Confessions) Reinvention is my fav. The opening
of the Justify My Love (The Beast Within) remix is unforgetable.
after all these years of making good music, not only that she
makes good music. i think she is still hot her a women like her.
madonna is hot
woo-hoo! I just bought her record over here in japan, I mean her
FIRST one, it was great. it smelled bad but there nothing better
than a good ole record and record player right?!
I absolutely love the latest album from madonna. No matter what
this woman does she always can reinvent herself. Some of my
favorite songs are "Get Together" and "Issaac". I think it's
pretty cool that when you listen to some of the songs on the
album, Madonna said that she used some of the same beats of ABBA's
songs and some of her old 80's music.
I always thought Madonna was like all the other 80's music , old ,
dead and best to be left that way. After her awesome new releases
these past two years my thought patterns totally changed! I am now
a Madonna freak! But don't think I only listen to her hot new
tracks! I've evn dug out my mom's old CD's and have learnt all the
words to her classics. 20 years and she still keeps churning out
hits like nobody's business! Go Madge!
I've always loved her music, and she's just an amazing woman!
She's been around for a long time, and she really makes something
of herself.
She is still as beautiful as she was when she exploded into the
music world 20 yrs. ago.
I started listening to Madonna's songs ever since I heard my dad
listening to it. I love all of her songs so much that whenever I
dance, I opened her musics and dance with it. All of her songs has
an amazing beat. Even though she's older now, she still can dance
and sing. I think her music is unique and I love every songs she
sang. My dad would be even more happy when he sees this CD. I hope
she would continue this!
I grew up listening to Madonna and I love her music. I wish she'd
make the greatest hits album with her songs from when she first
started.

She is a great artist and even after having children she can
still move like she did 20 years ago.

Keep it up Madonna Keep making music!!!

I can't wait to hear songs from her new album....

her staying power in the music spotlight is amazing and wonderful.
not to mention she's worked hard for that hot bod she's been
showing off!
I just think it is amazing that unlike other artists who have been
around forever she is able to continue to have something worth
offering musically so she just dosent keep relasing albums no one
listens to and selling out tours for people who only want to hear
the odl stuff.
i love the album "Confessions of a Dance Floor" =) its good to
dance to.
i especially like Hung up and Isaac!
Madonna is aright but the 1 thing i didnt like was the retro
leotard look >.< im not feelin it
I will not say Madonna is my idol, but I will admit she is one of
the few artists I respect. She may have had her share of
criticism, but Madonna is only human.

I hope she continues make music and is around for many more years
to come!

Madonna is such a versatile artist. Every album, since the late
80s, has had a very different sound. She can do "pop" numbers
like Cherish, or songs with a meaning like "papa don't preach." I
think she's awesome how she pushes the envelope even in her
forties. She continues to be a fan favorite, and I can't wait to
hear this new album!
I think madonna changes a little bit each album in a good way.
This one is a lot more dancable and fun. And it is great to know
that you can change but some how be the same person that made out
with a stage with her song like a virgin or kissed britney spears
singing the same song at the mtv awards.
I think she just grown up to be a great mother and released
certain things in her life. But their is also going to be madonna
and she gets better with age. After all, what generation doesnt
know madonna songs. And this is a great cd for my aunts and mom
all in their 30's me 19. and my cousins 11,and9 could all enjoy at
the same time wiht out fighting. And plus who doesnt love to
dance.....
I really love the dance feel to her album, actually. My dad is
even guilty of owning the album.
Madonna is the -only- woman out there right now that I honestly
feel can pull off what she does after so long. You can't get bored
with her because she constantly throws in a surprise to her style.
You can possibly not like her voice, but even that has changed
with the times and then you'd be in the minority. You can't even
say she's let herself go because she's in better shape than most.

I absolutely love her 'sorry-remix'.

I don't know what it is about her, bu when you think of her she's
just a staple to my entire life of knowing music. I'm only 24 so
she's been there, the entire time . . .
