Vegetarian Delight

3 great dishes for movie night

Being relatively uneducated on those who are vegetarians until recently, I had always assumed they were missing out on such good food and fun times. It wasn't until college I realized they're not missing out on anything, and if anything, it was me missing out on some amazing meals I didn't think existed.

Two of my friends always told me that it just requires a bit more creativity in the kitchen, which I didn't really understand. After some crazy weekends of letting them do the cooking, though, it's occurred to me there's a world of food out there I've ignored.

To put together a great, vegetarian meal, I turned to Megs, better known as meggiesue14 to most of you. She put together this delicious meal for everyone. This meal can be used for any occasion, but what better way to feed your friends on movie night?

LuckyMicrowave, there are more then one type of vegetarian. Some
may not eat eat dairy products, but may consume meat alternatives
like fish, shrimp, or eggs, or even the other way around. Every
vegetarian is different, so you shouldn't base your opinion on a
conception. I like these recipes, and am always looking for a
good dip! I just might try that recipe! Great article!
haha, I've been looking for a good spinach and artichoke dip
recipe, I may have to try this one out. :)
wow nice...i wanna eat all of that lo...too bad im too lazy to
cook. yay to my fellow vegeterians
These sound like some really good ideas! Im a veggie too, think
I'll have to give some a try!
ooh im veggie and theres this really really nice dish i tried
making the other day.. it was basically a butternut squash mash
was aubergine and parsnip i think, kinda like a hot-pot type thing
was goats cheese on top and then bake it in the
oven....hmmmm....lovely!

to LuckyMicrowave, don't be so ignorant, i haven't eaten meat
since i was 6 and im perfectly healthy, normal average 8-9st. so
all i can say is don't knock it until you've tried it! these
things do actually taste good and even better, there's no dead
dripping carcass on your conscience!
Have you never eaten at Applebees?!?! They have the spinach and
artichoke dip, it's amazing.
The author said she got the meal ideas from a vegetarian ON
KIWIBOX. So therefore, yes they actually eat this.
uhh these things may not contain meat... but look disgusting and
fattening. Vegetarians don't actually eat that crap.
The spinach and artichoke dip is like my favorite stuff in the
world... im nearly a vegetarian, and once im out of my parnets
grasp, im pretty sure I will be a complete vegetarian..they just
dont like the concept :)
I'm semi-vegetarian.. which means I eat a small portions of meat.
I plan to become fully a vegetarian by the end of this year. Great
recipes.. especially spinach- and - artichoke dip yay
