Wii PlayNintendo (Wii)

For most people, purchasing Wii Play is not just a no-brainer, but a necessity. It comes packaged with an extra Wii controller, employs the use of the Mii characters you create on the Wii's internal memory and is designed for simple, multiplayer entertainment--all for the price of $10 more than purchasing an extra control by itself. Like I said, necessity.
With that said, Wii Play is a no-frills, simple-as-pie take of various sports a la Wii Sports. But instead of playing renditions of Tennis, Bowling, Baseball, Golf and Boxing Wii Play has renditions of sports with less overall intensity--Table Tennis, Fishing, Air Hockey (dubbed "Laser Hockey" in the game) and so on. Rounding out the package are quirky, off-center games that are less physical and more cerebral, like the silhouette-matching "Pose Mii" and the Where's Waldo?-influenced "Find Mii."
