Aside from celebrating great historical figures this month, we at Kiwibox want to celebrate just being young women! Sure, we may not always be the first choice for the football team-but we can have sleepovers with our friends until we are at least 30, wear make-up, find the cheapest chic clothes, and have great "girls nights out" with our closest pals. (And who knows, maybe you are just awesome and can do all of that PLUS get on the football field with the guys! YOU GO GIRL!)
As a college student in New York City, I would have to say that when I'm not going out on tiring and annoying dates with young guys, the best "dates" I've had are with my best girlfriends. How nice is it when you aren't trying to be impressive and are just having a great time laughing and hanging with your girls? In my opinion there is nothing better.
