"I don't set out to offend or shock, but I also don't do anything to avoid it."Few comedians push the boundaries of race, ethnicity, sexuality, and religion like Sarah Silverman. Love her or love to hate her, she continues to push the line of appropriateness to the point of no return. And we love her for it.
Born on December 1, 1970, Silverman grew up in Bedford, New Hampshire to Jewish parents. She has three sisters, Susan, a rabbi and an author, Laura, an actress, and Jody, a screenwriter.
Sarah got her big break during the 1993-1994 season of Saturday Night Live where she began as a staff writer and was also a featured cast member. However, Sarah had only written one sketch that made it to the dress rehearsal and none that made it to air. She was subsequently fired at the end of the season--apparently through a fax which was, needless to say, upsetting. Not one to take no for an answer, Sarah moved on to such projects as Mr. Show, where she was a featured guest. She also appeared in movies like There's Something About Mary, School of Rock, The Way of the Gun, and Rent.

ey
and I think its great. Its a show to watch for some humor that
makes sense to only people who have a weird or bubbly personality.
I really enjoy it...and i know some people get offended by the
things she may say or do on the show, but if your offended, then
DON"T WATCH IT!
