As I sit at my computer planning on publishing the new issue on Kiwibox, it struck me as quite a bittersweet occasion. This marks the last issue officially published under our amazing Editor-In-Chief of almost 5 years, Erica Shieferstein. Out of all the senior staff and editors I've ever worked with, I have to say that Erica is one of the hardest working and kindest human being I've ever known. Words can't express the tremendous contribution she has made to Kiwibox. On this special occasion as we celebrate Women's History Month and all the extraordinary women in the world, I took the liberty of gathering some words together from her co-workers, friends, and her beloved lil kiwis...

"Erica and I worked together for over two years at Kiwibox, and she is for sure one of the reasons why I'm still here. Her ambition and creativity on and off the site was contagious. Being the mouthpiece for an entire website is a tall order that Erica handled with ease. Sometimes when I feel that I'm flooded with work here at KiwiHQ I sit back and remember that Erica handled at least DOUBLE the workload while going to school, interning and maintaining a healthy social life. I would "wish her luck" with anything she does in the future, but it's not necessary. Her drive and work ethic ensures her success without the use of pedestrian things like luck.
Ms. Schieferstein, I tip my hat to you."
