An avid reader myself, nothing makes me feel better than curling up with a good book and completely forgetting the world around me. Trust me, these books will do just that. I've made a list of my top five books for lounging on a beach in Mexico or beating the cold indoors over spring break. Any of these books can be found at your local bookstore or on Amazon.com.

1. A Million Little Pieces by James Frey. This book created a lot of controversy since Oprah listed it as a favorite in her book club because some parts of the book were embellished by Frey. However, controversy aside, it's still a fantastic book. James Frey tells of his recovery from alcoholism in a rehabilitation clinic.

This wasn't my typo:

"I’ll admit I watch shows like Dr. 90210 and The Swan which, which
in some aspects glorify the use of plastic surgery to feel better
about oneself, however, this book sheds"

It should have been left alone as it was.
a lot of those books are actually on my reading list. i mad one up
not too long ago. i've been stuck on these gossip girl novels
though. seriously. i thought they would suck. i'm on number four
now and i just started them a week and a half ago.
These can probably be found on bookmooch.com, frugalreader.com,
whatsonmybookshelf.com, titletrader.com, and paperbackswap.com All
of these are places where you can get free books!
Anything by James Patterson's Alex Cross series, Icy Sparks
(amazing book), Me & Emma (amazing!), Fat Girl by Judith
Moore....I love books and these all seem like good ones I'll have
to check out.
nice article! I definitely want to read: A million pieces and
running with scissors. My favorite book is The Sunflower for
anyone that wants another, and Angels and Demons was a page
turner. Right now im reading "The Other Boyeln Girl," which is
about the 1500's English court--full of scandal :)
the only one that I have heard off was the running with scissors
one
I will have to check some of those books out. I haven't been
reading much lately, but I've been thinking about starting again.
lol.

Great job on the article, hun!!
