LCD SoundsystemSound of Silver

I can count the people as cool as James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem on one hand.
Screw it, on one finger.
It's him. The one you always knew existed. The Coolest Man on the Planet. He's pushing 40. He resurrected dance music after Daft Punk became human and Basement Jaxx let their ADD get the best of them. He owns every great record ever, and all he does is re-jigger them in whatever fashion he deems funky. And nobody dares complain about him being "too derivative," or even worse, "too hipster." Murphy transcends flash-in-the-pan, trend-of-the-moment hipsterism. He knows that rock and roll ain't rocket science; it's just rock and roll.
To criticize Murphy is to criticize fun, parties, laughter and love.
Yet to heap critical praise on him immediately renders your opinion, however valued, useless.
