How to deal with prom anxiety

It is senior year and the last hurrah before high school graduation is right around the corner, Prom. This is the time to commemorate those four hard years of schoolwork, friends, good times and bad times. While this is supposed to be one of the happiest moments during high school there are still some downfalls to prom.

Many people undergo pressure to drink, to do drugs and to have sex. The most important thing to remember is to be yourself and to stand for what you believe in. Doing what makes you happy is more important than to succumb to the demands of the "cool kids." Nobody should feel obligated to do anything out of the ordinary on prom night. Prom should be a night to remember, not one to black out on.

What is the point of caving in to those pressures anyways? If it is your friends who are forcing you to partake in drinking or doing drugs, then they are not your real friends. Real friends are happy with you and the decisions you choose to make. They will show you respect regardless of what you decide. Besides, sometimes you have the most fun being the only sober people at the party anyways. You get to watch everyone else act a fool (funny), and you don't feel sick the next morning.

Nice article. Simple, short, sweet, and straight to the point -
which are excellent points btw.

My Senior Prom was so much fun. Stressful, because of all kind of
crazy drama, mostly limo and table drama. But, my entire limo was
singles - all girls, except for one couple. Poor guy. But, it was
fun nonetheless. Sometimes, single is much more fun. No fuss or
worry or stress, and pressure. Girls can't really pressure girls
into having sex (well unless they go that way), and none of us
really drink heavily. We were good. Besides screaming out the
window at people.

Okay, maybe we weren't so good :]
Nice love the article...
Great job, I liked this article 100%.
GOOG JOB CHRISTINA!
