Spring into Health and Fitness

Spring is just around the corner and it's time to kick your kiwi butt back into shape. Every year it seems like you are suddenly bombarded with gym specials and new diet plans that are "guaranteed to work". Well, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this year is no exception. However, how many times can we see TrimSpa or Zone commercials without finally saying "enough"?! Add to that, constant ad campaigns about beauty products, pimple creams, hair dyes...the list about looks and vanity never ends.

So, in honor of our sports and health issue...we will celebrate feeling good about (gasp) yourself! Here's a hint. If you aren't sitting around watching TV all day, chances are you won't see the above mentioned advertising. Instead you will be out doing good things for yourself and your body! Health is much more than looking a certain way outside...it's about taking time to work on the inside. Trust me, in no time you will be glowing anyways!

Ironically my high school now has soccer, but it didn't when I was
in high school. But my college does have intramuel soccer,so I'll
do that.
Our soccer season is just starting and I've been enjoying tryouts
so far! My rowing training begins soon too. It's ture... spring
is a great time to get fit!
our soccer team is still playing. they are really good. i wish our
volleyball team was that good. its ok, i still love it. i would
play soccer if v-ball wasnt then. i love sports, but i had to quit
track this year (back problems). ah well
High schools don't play soccer in the spring...that's competitve
