TMNTUbi Soft (GBA)

Put down your Nintendo DS and PSP and dust off that old, abandoned GBA in the back of your closet, because TMNT supplies the kind of side-scrolling action that made you want to buy the system in the first place.
Following the pace of earlier game incarnations of the classic cartoon, TMNT feels like a kindred spirit to the SNES and Arcade favorite, Turtles in Time. Pick from all four of the half-shell heroes--Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael--as they fight their way through massive levels of beat-em-up glory.
Taking notes from other immortal old-school action games like Double Dragon and Battletoads (remember them?) TMNT wastes no time on soggy storylines and Triathlon-long combos, opting for the quick-and-dirty cutscenes and simple, A-B-A-B combos of the past. That is not to say that the game is has a lack of depth. Each character has a wide array of moves and counters that keep the action fresh and full of variety.
