There's something missing from the newer generations of cartoons kids have available to them. They either lack creativity or originality, or are just a little too crude for children. In fact, it's doubtful you could pay many twenty-year-olds to sit and watch an hour of the cartoons on the new Nickelodeon. In fact, some people want old school Nick shows back so badly, they've started a petition to bring back shows that were cancelled years ago. What is it about the old shows that have many of the "around twenty" age longing for what once was? What makes them worthy of talk after all this time?
Some of the earlier shows referred to as "Nicktoons" you might recall include Doug, Rugrats, and Ren and Stimpy. These shows were first launched together in August of 1991.
