Tim McGraw is a cherry picker. He's an artist who knows that, sometimes, it's more important to pick a hit song rather than attempt to write one. Reason Number Two McGraw is overall the most popular and respected man in country music: His versatility. Whether it's a duet with his wife Faith Hill ("It's Your Love") or rapper Nelly ("Over and Over"), McGraw sounds calm and collected, using his trademark drawl to the advantage of the song, and not for ego-tripping motives. Recent years have seen McGraw slowly transforming into a more world-weary man, and Let It Go sheds a bit more of the man's sappy skin in favor of blunt, upfront-and-center songs.

The proclamation of McGraw churning out a thinking man's album may seem like a bit of a shock after hearing Let It Go's opener, "Last Dollar (Fly Away)," a cheerful song of freedom with a sing-songy chorus and even a children's chorus at the tail-end. But the album takes a hairpin turn with "I'm Workin'," where McGraw sings "Damn I hope no one dies on this night shift tonight," which is light-years away from the "1-2-3 Like a bird I sing / Cause you've given me the most beautiful set of wings" chorus of "Last Dollar." Side by side these songs are a jarring-yet-perfect realization of where McGraw is at these days; he's a commercial artist with a blue-collar heart.

his music and movie carrier. This is the best cd he's came out
with yet. I love everything about him. He is one very talent man
who is great at all he does..

Tim McGraw is definitely an amazing artist. I've grown to love him
since he first came out with his earlier songs. :) He keeps coming
out with more chart toppers and it never seems to end. Great
article, I enjoyed reading it. I'll definitely have to check this
albulm out, I don't know one bad song that Tim McGraw has done.
Thanks!
Tim Mcgraw is one of the few country artists that's actually
pretty good. I'm not much into country music, but he's not bad at
all. I like some of his music quite a bit. He's good.
I really love Tim McGraw's music alot. It's so beautiful to listen
to Tim McGraw sing. I have also seen his movie Flicka. He was
great in the movie too.
I am a country girl from the heart and I love Tim Mcgraw. I love
his songs and his looks.

I haven't listened to much of his music, but I know there are
millions of people that love it. He's an amazing artist that never
fails to put out a good album. When I decide to buy another cd, it
will probably be his.
i like tim mcgraw i'm tryin to collect all his cd's and this 1
next in line i love a whole bunch of his songs. every time one of
his songs come on the radio i blare it up a little bit.
Tim McGraw is so awesome at everything he does, he's a wonderful
singer, and I LOVED Over and Over with Nelly, probly the ONLY
Nelly song I like. Haha. We play the radio at work, and Last
Dollar plays all the time, and everytime, I sing along. He's a
wonderful actor too, and I hope he and Faith are always together.
I'm rooting for them! WOO!
Tim McGraw's music is very motivational and inspirational. Plus
it sounds great, good to sing along to, as well as dance to
(especially two-steppin'). And it really helps that he's so good
looking. I know he's older and married and has children, but
still he's gorgeous!
He has made some amazing songs and I love them.I love Don't take
this girl and live like you were dying
Tim McGraw is an awesome singer and person. I admire what he has
done with his life and how much he has accomplished. I love how he
puts his family first and then everything. I love his music and
there is not one song that I don't like of his. He is only getting
better with time.
well he's not only gorgeous but he's an amazing singer to boot
too!
hey love tim mcgraw whoot good music
Omg. I have been obsessed with tim mcgraw for like 5 years now. i
listen to him constantly. my parents get so tired of him but idk
how. ALL of his songs are freaking sweet! I loveeee last dollar,
just to see you smile, the cowboy in me, unbroken..ok i should
just stop because i would probably name like all but 2 or 3 of his
songs. He is also an awesome actor! He plays such mean parts which
takes a lot! he was aweosome in friday night lights and flicka. he
is also very very cute. =)
I don't know what to even say. I remember when I was 10 or 11, I
constantly had my ear up to my radio listening to hear Tim's song,
"I Like It, I Love It", just so I could record it. We never had a
lot of money so it took a while before I got to get that cd but I
remember when I got it, I never stopped listening to it. I had a
favorite song on there that I don't think was ever released as a
single. It was called Can't Be Really Gone and it was such a sad
song but so pretty. Those were the days when I was addicted to
music. I am still addicted but it's been really calm lately. I
can't wait to hear the rest of the album!
i love tim mcgraw! i saw him in concert a few years ago and he is
AMAZING live! i can't wait to buy this album! =)
Wow Tim McGraw has put out so many albums. I love them all. I
would love to get his new album . I'm so happy with the music he
has put out in the past few years. Tim McGraw is my guilty
pleasure..... *sighs* He is so hott.
Most of Tim McGraw's songs I hear end up having a special meaning
to me. Some are good for when your upset, others good for that
mushy kinda day your feeling hehe. And the others have the just
let loose feel good vibe to them. All of them I sing(try to hehe)
along with. I gotta say that I love Tim McGraw, he's one of the
best singers out there in country music. And when him and Faith
sing together its pure magic.
I grew up listening to country music and it is still my all time
favorite genre. I was only 11 years old when I heard Tim McGraw
for the first time with his song, "Indian Outlaw". I have
continued to listen to Tim McGraw and buy his music. I really
love the duets Tim has sung with his wife, Faith Hill. They sound
(and look) so good together! I like the fact that he included his
daughter's in his latest song, "Last Dollar (Fly Away)". It makes
for a cute ending. I must say, too, that Tim McGraw did a great
job acting in the movie, "Flicka".
I just want to share my story like everyone else is. Tim's music
has helped me alot over the past year. I had lost my husband for
about 7 months and almost lost my son but when I would get really
stressed out or depressed about the small things I would just
listen to his music and it would help me cope with my problems and
give me a better understanding on why things are like they are. My
favorite song then was "Remember Me". Now me and my husband and
son have reunited once again and the love we have for each other
is stronger than ever. When we get remarried we have decided that
we will do away with the traditional "Here comes the bride" and I
will walk in to the song "It's Your Love". So sorry for boring ya
but I felt that I had to just share that with ya!!

~Much Love~

Tim McGraw is my guilty pleasure. :)
Tim McGraw is really a great singer. I grew up listening to
nothing but country, and it's pretty much the only genre of music
I listen to now. His song, "Everywhere", brings back a lot of good
memories for me. When I was younger, some of my friends and I
would listen to it on repeat for hours on end. I recently saw his
new movie Flicka, and I must say that I was impressed. My dad and
I both really like the song "My Little Girl" (which is on the
movie soundtrack). In-fact, we have named it "our song!" If Tim's
popularity on the country charts is any indication on how long he
is going to be around, I must say that I'm a happy camper. =D
My mom would love this
My mom knew Tim a year before he made it big.Plus in the navy she
worked with his sister and met his nephew in the 90's.I never knew
that until yesterday when I told my mom about this contest. But
like I said before I've grown up listening to his music. Its so
inspirational to me.I listen to him all the time.In fact I'm
listening to him right now.
This album is going to be great, i've heard little samples and it
sounds really awesome. I know one of the songs was written by *The
Warren Brothers* Whom I just adore so i'm anxious to hear all of
the great songs from this album.
make country music just too cool.

I saw him in concert and it was amazing, can't wait to see him
again.
I have loved him since I was really little. The first song I heard
from him was "Don't take the Girl" when I was four years old.I
have grown up with his music. Its like I know him.
I love him because he is a great artist, husband, and father. I
love how he tries different things. He has don duets with Nelly a
rap artist. and of course his wife. Which I just love how those
two sound together. As soon as they sang together the first time
it was like Wow, Those two are going to be a hit. And They have
been married for ever.. Which how often does that happen in the
entertainment world. Who wouldnt love to have a romance like
theirs. After all he proposed to her on tour and wrote it on a
mirror and hurried up to go and sing. He is a romantic. I just
love how Tim can juggle his family and his career. And all his
songs are hits to my ears. Also he looks really damn good in a
cowboy hat and jeans.

I normally don't like country music,but...Tim Mcgraw nicely
crosses that country/pop/rock line and he does it well.
the little kids at the pre-school I work at are always singing
"1,2,3 like a bird I sing, cause you've given me the most
beautiful set of wings!!" Its adorable. thats what I love about
Tim's music. . . it appeals to everyone!
I think Tim McGraw is amazing. I've never heard a song by him that
I didnt love and he is just a legend. He will go on and on forever
and sing hit sings until he dies. Last Dollar is an awesome song
and I have already been listening to it on my IPod.
I have had his song "last dollar (fly away)" stuck in my head
since I first heard it. He is so talented and he has managed to
constatly come out with songs that are different, yet still makes
them his own!
Even though I am a big country fan so my opinion is a little
biased, I think that he is a great singer. He is an inspiration
to everyone because he shows us that even famous people lead
normal lives. He manages to juggle his singing career along with
spending time with his family and even acting. I never used to
like country music until I heard a Tim McGraw song and I fell in
love with it. He is a truly talented singer because he is able to
collaborate with different type of vocalists such as Nelly, Faith
Hill and even Tony Bennett.
I remember the first time I bought a Tim McGraw cd. I was a
freshman in high school, and I bought his "Set This Circus Down"
cd. I was telling my mom about it and how much I loved the Tim
McGraw songs on the radio, and she informed me that she went to
school with a Tim McGraw. He was in her choir class. I started
freaking out that my mom went to high school with Tim McGraw, and
she told me to look him up in her yearbook. Turns out his name
was Tim McGaugh...with nice large-framed glasses and very slicked
back hair.

To this day, Tim McGraw is still one of my favorite artists. In
fact, I was convinced that any man I would marry would have to
have an appreciation of Tim McGraw...enough that he wouldn't
cringe every time I turned it on. However, my boyfriend did NOT
like country. Although once I started saying that, he decided to
change it to the fact that he would never choose to turn on
country. Then one day, on the way to a hike he was telling me
about this unlabeled cd that he found and had been listening to
and it was all country songs that he liked. I was pretty excited,
so then we turned it on as we were driving and who else started
singing but Mr. "I Like It, I Love It" Tim McGraw! The other
artist featured on the cd was Garth Brooks, another favorite. You
have no idea how happy it made me to know that he liked Tim
McGraw...enough to call "I Like It, I Love It" one of his favorite
country songs.

Well, now we are getting married in July. Need I say more?
Tim McGraw is one of my all time favorites. Even though he is
labeled a country singer, he is not limited to that genre. His
duet with nelly was probably sometime most people would never have
imagined, yet it was very successful. And who doesnt like the
duets with his wife faith.
Tim McGraw is one of those legends that once he's gone, he will be
remembered FOREVER. I loved his acting in Flicka even though he
looked better with his beard hehe.
Tim McGraw is such a talented person. He is such a great singer
and he is also a fantastic actor. He also is a great role model
when it comes to his family... you can tell that he loves his wife
and children so much. He even expresses it in his music.

Since I'm constantly down to my "Last Dollar" as a college
student, I would love to win a copy of his CD! :)
We had one song by Tim and the duet It's your Love at our wedding.
I <3 Tim. He's stayed true to his style even though he's been able
to branch out and change it up, like he did with Nelly. It was
still Tim, which I enjoyed.
Josh, if I don't win a CD, I'm going to hunt you down and kill
you.

.... just kidding :)

No seriously though, I'm not a huge fan of country music anymore,
but Tim Mcgraw will always be one of my favorites. (Second to only
Garth Brooks. ha)

I'm really excited about it coming out and it will probably remain
one of the FEW cds I plan to buy at some point this year, as
opposed to downloading it.

Although I've never been a huge fan of country music, I've always
liked Tim McGraw's songs and albums. His duets are fabulous! Also,
the lyrics and tunes of most of his songs are awesome!
Tim McGraw My favorite country artist since I was a kid and my
favorite song of him is I Like I Love It. Faith is definately make
the best couple that I know of so far. He is my hero and he
deserves all the fame because he has definatley deserved it.

Tim McGraw is one of my favorite male country artists. The song he
sings all of a story behind them and he always sings from his
heart. Tim & Faith make a great couple and I love when they sing
together. I have never seen Tim in concert but someday I plan to.
He deserves all the success he has earned and his a great singer.
