Now Isn't That Vice

Does having vices make us human?

Well my new years resolution went right out the window.

You would think sticking to one little self imposed rule couldn't be all that hard, but somehow it is. It seems the rules and regulations that we impose upon ourselves, are sometimes, the hardest to follow.

Most of the time we manage to stay out of ticketing range on the highways (or maybe we just don't get caught), we generally do the work assigned to us at school or work as the case may be, and find ourselves able to contain that urge for a five-finger-discount.

So if all of that is so easy, why aren't our own rules as easy to follow?

I love staying up late. There's something so fulfilling about making a pot of coffee (yes, I drink it in the morning, drink it in the evening, and definitely drink it at dawn) curling up on my futon, to watch Sex and the City, or a completely non-intellectual film I can melt into, rather than hastily analyze, and relax. I love it. Late nights, and coffee, are my greatest vices (funny how those two seem to go together so well)

I like that line DogBait...flaws or people with different
habits... like it
Do we really have flaws? Or are we simply different people with
different habits?
