Hilary DuffDignity

Who would've ever expected Disney-pop princess Hilary Duff to morph into a tasteful, ruminating electro grrl? I, for starters, did not. And judging from the critic's general consensus (which is very positive, considering) neither did anybody else.
Like most watching the pop world from the outside looking in, I had Duff's career arc pegged--sweet, harmless pop-star to sexed-up R&B kitten followed by post-career tabloid woes.
I was wrong. Very wrong.
Now don't get me wrong: Dignity isn't an awe-inspiring album by any stretch of the imagination (no, no, no). But Duff's re-examination/re-invention of herself is a bold move for a star in her position. There's no kiddie-pop competition for the crown; Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson and Mandy Moore all jumped that ship years ago. Dignity successfully recasts Duff as a dance-pop siren, icy and likeable like the Sheena Eastons and Kylie Minogues before her.

These songs are sooo catchy!! I gotta say "Happy" is such an
awesome song and people can really relate to it. She has grown so
much and I just replay this album over and over it is very worth
your money especially the Deluxe Edition because it comes with a
DVD of all her videos plus more!! What are you waiting for? Go get
it!!
