On a trip to New York a couple summers ago, I encountered a local who thought people from Texas rode horses everywhere they went while donning practically mandatory cowboy boots and hats. The suburbs are Sugar Land, Katy and The Woodlands. Spread across these vast lands are hundreds of places worthy of visiting and a handful of ones you shouldn't waste your time or money checking out.
