Politics as usual with this Missouri-based quartet.
This New York-based quartet is prepared to rock in '09.
The hard rock quintet gets sinister on "Cinco Diablo."
Sticking to what they do best on their fifth album.

Concerts You Don't Want to Miss (genre: Upcoming Tours)

Summer is quickly approaching, meaning that a large number of music festivals are already planned and the final touches are being worked on. Different concerts are held all over the country, or in some cases, one festival tours cross-country. The festivals this year focusing on country music are no exception. Whether they're a local event or a nation wide tour, this year's country festivals are not ones to miss.

Mountain Country Music Festival 2007

This summer, the Mountain Country Music Festival is being held at an old ski resort in the mountains of Farwell, Michigan. It's a four day event, lasting from June 21 through the 24. To provide a place to stay, camping is available from June 20 at 10 A.M. to June 25 at noon for all concert goers for a fee of $60 for a two person camp site. This is in addition to the ticket cost, which is $135.00 for a 4 day adult pass from April 24 through May 23 but will increase as it nears closer to the concert.

For this price, you will get to see Da Yoopers on Thursday, Blaine Larsen, Darryl Worley, Joe Nichols, and Leann Rimes on Friday; Junior Brown, Shooter Jennings, Carrie Underwood and Gretchen Wilson on Saturday; and on Sunday Steve Azar, Jeff Foxworthy, and Sawyer Brown will be performing.

There are also spots in the lineup still marked TBA.

There is one in Wisconsin, and my favorite...

JAMBOREE IN THE HILLS. JITH is in Ohio, but the is based out of
Wheeling, WV (about 10 minutes away). This is the 30th year it
has been going on. My mom went the first year, and I picked up
where she left off. It is the third weekend in July, and it is
simply amazing!! Plus you an bring in your own cooler filled with
beverages :) And there is the whole mardi gras beads concept. I
buy my tickets the first day they go on sale and it is $125 for
the 4 day pass. It is more expensive at the gate. Go to
Jamboreeinthehill.com for more details!!
Why can't they do something like that around here? Shooter
Jennings kicks ass. He's amazing live!!!!
I love this article! I want my parents to take me to the CMA Music
Festivle after I get my masters. I want to meet my favorite
singers! Keep up the good work!
