Part 4 of 4: The Interview

Note: This is the final part to a four part series. The first two parts were about creating your resume: resume essentials and the add-ons for your resume. The third part was about finding the job and creating a cover letter.

Interviews can be nerve-racking enough so don't go in unprepared. Nerves show the employer that you aren't as confident as you came off to be in your cover letter and resume, and maybe you aren't sure you're the right fit. With a few tips lots of preparation, you can go into the interview cool and calm.

The first step to take before going in for that interview is to check out the company. The Internet is full of resources. Use the Internet, make some calls, or check out the library for articles published about the company. All of those will give you insight to the company.

going for my 2nd interview tomorrow...thank u so much for this
article
Not bad. =] I wish I knew some of this stuff earlier. I just have
a couple comments about the articles. If you're looking for an
internship, 90 days in advance is often not enough. I also wish
there were a few suggestions about how to go about turning down a
job. But overall, great job on the articles! I think they're
well-written and very informative!
This series has been my favorite in all the 7 years I've been a
member of Kiwibox; it's been the most helpful and informative.
This article in particular was most helpful to me - I hate
answering the questions, but this gave a nice heads up and example
answers for future interviews. Great job on the series!
First! ...for the past three in the series =)
