New York Street Style

Guerilla Photo Shoot

Sunday, April 22 was one of those perfect days that reminded me why Manhattan was so enchanting to me in the first place. With the lovely warm weather and bright sunlight, New Yorkers everywhere were out gallivanting around the parks, flea markets, and Tasti D-Lites of their beloved city.

My BFF and fellow Kiwibox editor, Erin, accompanied me on my lazy Sunday in lower Chelsea and Union Square. Together, we took in the sights of our neighborhood with nothing more than our sunglass-clad eyes and a touristy, unsuspecting disposable camera.

Here are a few pictures from our fashion outing!

I LOVE NEW YORK!

I love NY.
Rhett is hott! http://nyu.facebook.com/profile.php?id=826216
I was also in NYC on the 22nd! My first time there, I loved it!
i was a little offended (okay not really but i had to get this
out) Times Square is practically my life. I'm a broadway show
junkie and i spend a lot of time down there. So the tourists can
be a hassle and all but really how can you say that the heart of
the city, the hustle and bustle of it all is lame? To me its home
lol. okay /joke rant.
carolyn and erin, you two are the best! Should I send you to some
corn fileds for next week's "country" issue? haha! I want to see
some scarecrow-chic!!
Erin/Carolyn, you two guys write such great articles!
heh...i live here
I love Tasti D-Lite. We don't have any around here, but when I
went to NYC it was one of the few things I actually looked forward
to.
I'm a freaknerd.
Is what this guy wearing seriously considered city chic? Because
the shirt looks like a woman's and the pants are just...wrong.
But I really want to go. I loved this article... that guy is
hot... a sausage brunch sounds like some sort of gay dating
thing.... I hope he's not gay cuz he is pretty cute lol. Well,
cool article. Thanx! I'm deff, liking the new vibe. Keep on going!
I love NYC, but have only been there once! Nick and I are thinking
of taking a visit there within the next year :)
awesome article! I can't wait to go back!
ur cool.. i wish someday i could find a man who wears black vnecks
and grey skinny pants.. damn sexy. no but his face is sexy
im a proud New Yorker! :) i loovee the city, but i live in Queens
which is like 15 minutes away...
the picture are amazing..ha

I'm always in midtown too & love it here.
that was a marvelous article; i have always wanted to go to ny...
i am a pro at weaving through people; my friends hate it. *shrugs*
eh.

hmmm, favorite part of my town? either right down town ('down
town' is like, one small block here. it's marvelous though in the
summer) or the drive to horsetheif canyon.... yup.
i went to NYC and loved it!!
mind posting up rhett's phone number and/or contact info? lol,
since he's single and everything.
NYC grosses me out. The smell, the constant bumping into people,
the noise. Everything about it pretty much disgusts me.

As for the only place outside of main NYC that I've been is
Mineola/Long Island, which is nice, but too far overpriced for
everything.

I suppose overcrowded city life isn't for me. I don't even enjoy
visiting it. That fast pace annoys me. I know there are millions
of people who thrive on it, I for one though, am not one of them
:-) I guess I prefer a more suburban pace :-)

Is the fish tank still there and just behind that pillar or is it
gone? (at the office)
cute article....we are thinking about moving there too...:)
i live in new york.it really does rock beyond the call of
awesome, sorry to brag.if there's anything good to be said about
america in the midst of george w. bush and obeseity, new york is
it.
everyone needs to move here and we'll have a big KiwiBox
party!!!!!!!!!!!!

(at josh's house!) whoooo!
this article = love. I wanna give you a big hug and kiss right now
=) lmao but I'll spare you. and Downtown is where it's at...that's
the real heart of the City...Loisaida<3
Aww! I love this article. I love New York City and cannot wait to
move there after graduation! fell in love after visiting Spring
Break! There's so much to discover! <3
Cute article! Looks like you both had a fun day. :-) I live uptown
(and love it there), but maybe I will make it downtown more often
this summer.
I've never been to New York, but I get to live there for 9 weeks
this summer and I am soooo excited!!!
NYC rocks! And Carolyn and Erin rock too.....go Team KB!
This article makes me happy.

Mostly because my friend and I used to do the same thing once a
month in Atlanta.

You'd be surprised how much things change in just a month!
This was so cute. =)
that boy in the last picture..oh no no no no no no!

girl pants on a boy = NOOOO!!!!

that is not city chic, that's city sick.

I love NYC, oh how I wish I lived there. <3

them!
Ah, I've wanted to go to NYC for so long. I'll make it there
eventually. lol

Cool pictures.
ohhh the office looks so lively! I've only been in it a few times
but there's always been only one or two people there haha!

Fun pictures :)
