Audrey Faith Perry is not a name we all recognize when we think of musical success. But for many stars, changing their name a little suits their genre. This is the case for Audrey Faith Perry. She was born on September 21, 1967 and was raised in a small town in Mississippi by her adopted parents. Audrey got her start at an early age, becoming aware of a talent that she showcased at a mother-daughter luncheon, as well as family gatherings, fairs, and churches. She decided to make a move to Nashville when she was 19, even though her parents discouraged her from doing so. She had decided that for her to follow her dreams, she would have to start somewhere. This is the beginning for Faith Hill.
Faith Hill's first job in Nashville was selling shirts at Fan Fair. She later got a job working for singer-songwriter Gary Morris's company. After being heard singing along with the radio, Morris asked her to perform on some demos. She finally got a gig singing back up for a musician named Gary Burr. Warner Bros. discovered Faith Hill's talent at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe while she was singing with Gary Burr. Burr became her co-producer.
