Mother's Day? Wii!

So it's Mother's Day and you just finished having a nice dinner with the family. It's still early and everyone is trying to figure out what they can do to pass some time. Sure, going to the movies or watching a show on TV can have your family sitting together, or you can take your Nintendo Wii out of your room, hook it up in the family/living room, and have an interesting night of family fun. There are plenty of games readily available for the console that you, mom, and the whole family can enjoy playing together.


Before you start playing, some games make use of the Mii feature, where you can create virtual characters resembling yourselves. Help your mom pick out the right look to create her own Mii so she can save her stats for some of the games listed below.

First, there's Wii Sports (comes with the Wii console) and Wii Play ($49.99). Both of these games have single and multi player modes where you can play a game of baseball, boxing, ping pong, and laser hockey. You can make teams, maybe parents vs. kids to see if the younger generation is in tune with technology or if your parents can take you out in a boxing match.



Not only will both of these games offer a great time had by all, but you can burn off any of those calories you just consumed from dinner.
