Spa Pampering

Mother's Day is a time to try and pay your mom back for all the times she has made you feel better about yourself. So why not take this chance to give your mom a day to rest and feel better about herself? One popular idea for Mother's Day is treating your mom to a day of pampering, rest and relaxation through simple spa treatments.

Most busy moms don't have the time to sit in a salon for hours, but they usually can afford 15-45 minutes for a manicure. A full manicure including a soak, nail trim and file, cuticle cleaning, extended hand massage, paraffin dip and polish costs around $50. A basic manicure includes a soak, nail trim and file, cuticle cleaning, brief hand massage and polish runs about $20. If your mom has tips, the cost will be higher depending on the type she wears (gel or acrylic). Full manicures usually take 45 minutes, whereas basic manicures are about 15 minutes. A small price to pay to pamper your mother on her day.

This spoiled mom's manicure of inlaid diamonds cost $32,000.
