How does one go about becoming a perfectly strong and healthy adolescent? The truth is we can only try, because no one can reach "perfection". Since I would consider myself a relatively healthy teenager, however, I would say that it is most important to posses a healthy mind. Our minds, after all, are what influence our entire selves above all else. Eating well and exercising is great, but where does the impulse to act healthily come from? It is our self-esteem, motivation, and outlook on life that dictates how will live. Taking special care of these parts of our selves is what we should be most worried about.
Self-esteem, an immensely important attribute in our lives drastically influences all the decisions we make. Our choices are everything, so we must make them wisely. Not getting caught up in drugs and other negative influences goes without saying. What isn't as intuitive is making an effort to surround ourselves with positive influences and supportive people. I'm not saying that we should let complements and thoughtful gestures go to our heads, but we should always take note of them. Even the tiniest thing that a person does for you can be a reminder that you are thought of. I think it's a terrific feeling knowing someone cares about me, but many teens don't know how to receive and reciprocate kindness from others.
If someone smiles at you, try to smile back! Be the first person to say 'hi' in the morning. Lend someone a hand or a shoulder to cry on if they need it. Having other people respect us and view us as a kind person makes us respect ourselves and see the potential we have for happiness and peace. A little confidence is an amazing thing. Everything boils down to self-esteem.

I think that the breathing excercises would be pretty helpful for
me. I experience panic attacks sometimes, so learning to breathe
right would probably benefit me.
Good job!
