Upcoming Releases

The month of May promises to be jam-packed with fresh releases from inventive, unique artists. During the first, full week of the month, releases include artists such as Michael Buble, Travis and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony. Read on for more information about some of the hot releases from this week!

Elliott Smith - New Moon

Even though Elliott Smith died in 2003, he left enough material behind to create a posthumous album. New Moon is a 2-disc collection of old Smith's demos from 1994 to 1997 that was complied by producer Lary Crane.

If you enjoy old Elliott Smith, circa Roman Candle and Either/Or, this is a must buy.

Travis - The Boy with No Name

The last Travis album, 12 Memories, was a bit of a dark departure from their normally upbeat, happy-go-lucky sounds. The Scottish group named the album after singer Fran Healy's newborn son after he sent a picture of the newborn to a friend labeled "The Boy with No Name."

No one is quite sure about what the track listing on this CD will be as there have been three reported thus far, but that shouldn't stop you from looking into this one.
