Two TV Hits We Wish Had Never Ended

Although our TV sets are now flooded with popular shows like Grey's Anatomy, The Office, and America's Next Top Model, it's not a surprise that some of us still miss the TV programs we watched when we were younger that now consist of re-runs, or simply do not show at all. Although it was depressing to think that these shows had to stop at some point, we still watched every episode and stuck with them till the end. While The Cosby Show and M.A.S.H. were some notable TV finales of previous generations, I feel the biggest series finales of our time were those of the popular shows Friends and Seinfeld.

Under the direction of David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends premiered in 1994 with the hopes of targeting independent young adults. As time passed, the show gained attention world-wide as the characters progressed into their thirties.

Indeed, everyone loved watching Monica, Joey, Chandler, Rachel, Ross, and Phoebe, whether at Central Perk or in their New York City apartments. Although the show was mainly comedic, it often appealed emotionally to viewers as well: From the sadness of Ross and Rachel's break-up to the joy of Chandler and Monica's marriage. The show also successfully approached topics like homosexuality, sex, dating and childhood flaws in a humorous-yet-respectable way.

One of my favourites is the one at thanksgiving where Brad Pitt
comes into play as Will and how Ross and him in college had
created a club called "The I hate Rachel Club". they had started
the rumor about her having amle parts.
i love how every time you watch a rerun its always a different
one...thats the benefit of these shows running so long.
so what's your favorite friends episode?
