Heroes: There were a lot of surprises this week. The episode started with Peter gaining control over his radioactive power. He convinces Ted that they must leave New York because their powers are too dangerous. Claire and her father are finally reunited at this time. While the four of them are standing on the sidewalk, Sylar is just around the corner, eavesdropping.
Meanwhile, Hiro and Ando go to a shop to get the ancient sword fixed, where they are shocked to find Hiro's father. Hiro and his father go into a separate room, where Mr. Nakamura tells Hiro that he knows about his abilities and will teach him to swordfight so that he can finally kill Sylar. Linderman heals Nathan's paralyzed wife in an attempt to get Nathan to let the bomb go off. Sylar gets Ted arrested, and later kills him (absorbing his radioactive power) in his armored police car.
On Election Day, Linderman's people get Micah to manipulate the voting machines, making Nathan win the election. Bennett and Matt go to kill Linderman and meet D.L. and Jessica, who are trying to save Micah. Bennett kills Thompson, his boss at The Company (and who is an associate of Linderman). Later, Linderman tries to pay Jessica to kill D.L. and forget about Micah, but Jessica "comes back" and refuses to do it. Linderman tries to kill her, but D.L. takes the bullet and later kills him.
