Make Your Own Movie Soundtrack

Perfect For Any Road Trip (genre: Mixtape)

Taking a road trip or a drive down the shore and thinking about some great songs to make a mix? Want to be reminded of some great recent movies while driving? Every huge summer blockbuster in the recent years has produced some great songs that have gone from soundtrack filler to huge hits on the charts. While downloading (legally of course) songs to drive around to, don't forget that some of the best songs come straight out of your favorite movies.

"Beyond The Sea" by Robbie Williams (Finding Nemo)

One of the highest rated Disney movies of all time, the movie teaches the lessons of love and trust. It also gives us an updated remake of one of Bobby Darrin's most classic songs. While still retaining the classic big band sound, there's also a modern tone to it that will make anyone want to sing along while hoping of discovering their love beyond the sea.

"My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion (Titanic)

While not a summer blockbuster, no one can deny this song would not go away. It may be annoying to listen to, but once you get in the mood, you can't help but belt out the final chorus of the song while driving down a sunny highway

"Life Is a Highway" by Rascal Flats (Cars)

A bit cliche for a car ride, but a classic as well. This song has always been the kick off song my friends and I listen to while driving down the NJ Parkway to a shore point, and you can't help but bob your head along to the great beat.

"All Star" by Smash Mouth (Shrek)

This song has appeared in many movies besides Shrek, but even though some may find it a bit overplayed, it's still a song that can get you in a good mood. And don't pretend like you don't remember the words; after hearing it almost 20 times a day for a few years, it's hard to forget.
