Doe eyes were all the rage on the spring runways and are now making waves on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival. All of our favorite starlets from Diane Kruger to Mischa Barton have been seen rocking this sultry but simple look. Anyone coveting blockbuster beauty this spring should follow these simple tips for getting the most sought after stare of the season.
Step 1: Apply an eye shadow primer, foundation or concealer all over the lid and beneath the eye to eliminate under-eye shadows and keep make-up in place.

Step 2: Create an intense but casual eye beginning with a cream shadow base in a champagne peach tone. Blend upwards from the lash line to the brow bone.

Step 3: Next, use a brush to apply a light brown eye shadow or dark bronzer in the crease using a back in a back and forth motion. If you plan to use a brown color, be careful with the amount of shadow on the brush at one time. Remember: you can always put more on, but it's more difficult to take it off.

Also, adding more powder to the lids of your eyes (we're talking
either foundation or a really light shade of beige or light tan)
will make your shadow and liner, and so on go on much smoother and
more even. :)
