Justin Timberlake has been in the spotlight for over twelve years, and with just cause. He is talented and not to mention, easy on the eyes. This Tennessee native has had us captivated from the moment we first laid eyes on him.
Justin Randall Timberlake was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 31, 1981 to Randall Timberlake and Lynn nee Bomar. In 1985, his parents divorced and both eventually remarried. He has two half-brothers by his father, Jonathan, 14, and Stephen, 9. He has a half-sister, Laura Katherine, also by his father, who died shortly after her birth in 1997. She is mentioned in the acknowledgments in one of his albums as "My Angel in Heaven."
Timberlake grew up in a small town just north of Memphis called Millington. The first of his attempts to break out as a singing star was as a country singer on Star Search as Justin Randall. In 1993, he joined the Mickey Mouse Club, where he met Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and J. C. Chasez. When the show ended in 1995, Justin recruited J. C. to join an all-boy band that was being created by Chris Kirkpatrick and Lou Pearlman. The group, called NSYNC, got their start in Germany the very next year. Their start in America didn't come until two years later. The album the group released in 2002, No Strings Attached, was the fastest selling album of all time.
