When school lets out, sometimes it gets a little harder to keep up with all your friends. Just because you are not in school does not mean you should not hang out with them as much. Here are some ideas of how to keep in touch.
By mail:

1. Writing letters back and forth can be a good thing. Letters are particularly effective if you have a friend spending the summer in a faraway spot for vacation or camp. A letter will let them know you're thinking about them and give you a chance to see what they're up to while they're away.
2. The sticker club is where you have a set of addresses and every week after school lets out you send stickers to everyone on the list. It is fun and easy and many ages enjoy it.
3. Start a mail dairy. It is where you and another friend send letters back and forth. When one of you receives a letter you write what your day is like and what you do then send it back the next day. Keep the pages you get from your friend and when you start school, talk about them with each other.
By phone/Internet:
4. Call each other.
5. Send daily emails.

6. Send cute chain letters to each other.
7. Both of you set up a myspace and chat.
8. Set up a facebook.
9. Send each other questionnaires through your email.
10. Make up quizzes for each other and call them to ask the questions.
